2016-09-10Input: jornada720_ts - get rid of mach/irqs.h and mach/hardware.h includesRussell King1-0/+10
Switch the jornada720 touchscreen driver to obtain its gpio from the platform device via gpiolib and derive the interrupt from the GPIO, rather than via a hard-coded interrupt number obtained from the mach/irqs.h and mach/hardware.h headers. Tested-by: Adam Wysocki <armlinux@chmurka.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2016-08-23Input: jornada720_kbd - get rid of mach/irqs.h includeRussell King1-0/+6
Switch the jornada720 keyboard driver to obtain its interrupt from the platform device, rather than via a hard-coded interrupt number obtained from the mach/irqs.h header. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-1/+1
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. Tested-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
2012-11-16ARM: move serial_sa1100.h header file to linux/platform_dataRussell King1-1/+1
This is really driver platform data, so move it to the appropriate directory. Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2012-03-26ARM: 7343/1: sa11x0: convert to sparse IRQRussell King1-1/+0
Now that Neponset, UCB1x00 and SA1111 are all converted to use the IRQ allocation interfaces, we can enable sparse IRQ support for SA11x0 platforms.
2012-03-26ARM: 7342/2: sa1100: prepare for sparse irq conversionRob Herring1-2/+4
In preparation to convert SA1100 to sparse irq, set .nr_irqs for each machine and explicitly include mach/irqs.h as needed. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-03-26Merge branch 'sa1111' into sa11x0Russell King1-5/+1
Conflicts: arch/arm/common/sa1111.c arch/arm/mach-sa1100/neponset.c Fixed: arch/arm/mach-sa1100/assabet.c for the neponset changes
2012-03-24ARM: sa11x0: don't static map sa1111Russell King1-5/+0
The sa1111 support will ioremap() the device; there is no need for platforms to setup a static mapping for this. Remove the static mapping for this device from badge4, jornada720 and neponset. Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-03-24ARM: sa1111: provide a generic way to prevent devices from registeringRussell King1-0/+1
Some platforms don't want certain devices to be registered, because, eg, the interface is not wired. Provide a way for platforms to prevent various devices from being registered via a devid bitmask in the platform data. Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-02-09ARM: sa11x0: convert to use DEFINE_RES_xxx macrosRussell King1-25/+6

2012-02-09ARM: sa11x0: fix off-by-one resource sizesRussell King1-4/+4
Hackkit defined its flash memory resource to be 32M + 1 byte. Jornada defined the Epson video controller resources to be one byte larger than they should be, and mis-mapped the SA-1111 companion chip one byte smaller than it should be. Fix these. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-01-05ARM: restart: sa1100: use new restart hookRussell King1-0/+1
Hook these platforms restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2010-10-20arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre1-2/+0
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

2006-12-14[ARM] 4017/1: [Jornada7xx] - Updating Jornada720.cKristoffer Ericson1-25/+204
* HP Jornada 720 uses epson 1356 chip for graphics. This chip is compatible with s1d13xxxfb driver. * HP Jornada 720 uses a Microprocessor Control Unit to talk to various hardware. We add it as a platform device in jornada720_init() * We provide pm_suspend() to avoid unresolved symbols in apm.o. We are unable to truly suspend now, hence the stub. * Speaker/microphone enabling got removed because it will be placed in the alsa driver. 2005-04-17Linux-2.6.12-rc2v2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds1-0/+105
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
