For mach-exynos, uart_base is a pointer and the value is calculated in the machine folder. For other machines, uart_base is defined as a macro in platform directory. For symmetry, the uart_base macro definition is removed and the uart_base calculation is moved to specific machine folders. This would help us consolidating uncompress subroutine for s5p64x0. 2012-07-13ARM: S3C64XX: Add a new dma request id for device tree based dma channel lookupThomas Abraham1-0/+1
Commit 4972a80e16a2 (ARM: SAMSUNG: Add device tree support for pl330 dma engine wrappers) introduced a new member 'dt_dmach_prop' in the struct samsung_dma_info which is used to specify the dma channel number property as obtained from the device tree. It also introduced a new dma request id 'DMACH_DT_PROP' to indicate that a device tree node property represting the dma channel is available in 'struct samsung_dma_info'. Add dma request id 'DMACH_DT_PROP' in s3c64xx dma channel id list in order to maintain compatibility to the changes in the Samsung dma wrappper operations. Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. The Littlemill audio card is an adaptor card which can take any 6220-EV1 CODEC daughtercard. Provide standard support for the use of WM8994 class devices on the Littlemill card, configuring the MFD for WM8958 usage as this part is a superset of all others and the driver will use runtime detection to identify the actually fitted part given the configuration for the superset. We only need to set the system up for a soft-restart if we're going to be doing a soft-restart. Provide a new function (soft_restart()) which does the setup and final call for this, and make platforms use it. Eliminate the call to setup_restart() from the default handler. This means that platforms arch_reset() function is no longer called with the page tables prepared for a soft-restart, and caches will still be enabled. Since SAMSUNG_GPIO_EXTRA requires the arch to include the extra space in ARCH_NR_GPIOs add it on to BOARD_NR_GPIOs (in case boards are relying on the existing reservation).
