2020-08-20ARM: s3c: move into a common directoryArnd Bergmann1-228/+0
s3c24xx and s3c64xx have a lot in common, but are split across three separate directories, which makes the interaction of the header files more complicated than necessary. Move all three directories into a new mach-s3c, with a minimal set of changes to each file. 2020-08-17ARM: s3c: remove unneeded machine header includesKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+0
Not all units use the contents of mach/hardware.h and mach/dma.h. Remove these includes when not needed. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2020-07-09ARM: s3c24xx: leds: Convert to use GPIO descriptorsLinus Walleij1-22/+45
This converts the s3c24xx LED driver to use GPIO descriptors and also modify all board files to account for these changes by registering the appropriate GPIO tables for each board. The driver was using a custom flag to indicate open drain (tristate) but this can be handled by standard descriptor machine tables. The driver was setting non-pull-up for the pin using the custom S3C24xx GPIO API, but this is a custom pin control system used by the S3C24xx and no generic GPIO function, so this has simply been pushed back into the respective board files. 2018-01-03ARM: S3C24XX: Add SPDX license identifiersKrzysztof Kozlowski1-13/+8
Replace GPL license statements with SPDX license identifiers (GPL-2.0 and GPL-2.0+). The h1940-bluetooth.c was licensed under GPL-1.0. This also adds GPL-2.0 to few files lacking license statement. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2017-08-13mtd: nand: Rename nand.h into rawnand.hBoris Brezillon1-1/+1
We are planning to share more code between different NAND based devices (SPI NAND, OneNAND and raw NANDs), but before doing that we need to move the existing include/linux/mtd/nand.h file into include/linux/mtd/rawnand.h so we can later create a nand.h header containing all common structure and function prototypes. 2016-11-07mtd: s3c2410: make ecc mode configurable via platform dataSergio Prado1-0/+1
Removing CONFIG_MTD_NAND_S3C2410_HWECC option and adding a ecc_mode field in the drivers's platform data structure so it can be selectable via platform data. Also setting this field to NAND_ECC_SOFT in all boards using this driver since none of them had CONFIG_MTD_NAND_S3C2410_HWECC enabled. 2014-01-14ARM: S3C[24|64]xx: move includes back under <mach/> scopeLinus Walleij1-1/+1
When refactoring and breaking out the includes for the machine-specific GPIO configuration, two files were created in <linux/platform_data/gpio-samsung-s3c[24|64]xx.h>, but as that namespace shall be used for defining data exchanged between machines and drivers, using it for these broad macros and config settings is wrong. Move the headers back into the machine-local <mach/gpio-samsung.h> file and think about the next step. 2013-12-20ARM: s3c24xx: get rid of custom <mach/gpio.h>Linus Walleij1-1/+1
This isolates the custom S3C24xx GPIO definition table to <linux/platform_data/gpio-samsung-s3x24xx.h> as this is used in a few different places in the kernel, removing the need to depend on the implicit inclusion of <mach/gpio.h> from <linux/gpio.h> and thus getting rid of a few nasty cross-dependencies. We also delete the nifty CONFIG_S3C24XX_GPIO_EXTRA stuff. The biggest this can ever be for the S3C24XX is CONFIG_S3C24XX_GPIO_EXTRA = 128, and then for CPU_S3C2443 or CPU_S3C2416 32*12 GPIOs are added, so 32*12+128 = 512 is the absolute roof value on this platform. So we set the size of ARCH_NR_GPIO to this and the GPIOs array will fit any S3C24XX platform, as per pattern from other archs. ChangeLog v2->v3: - Move the movement of the S3C64XX gpio.h file out of this patch and into the follow-up patch where it belongs. ChangeLog v1->v2: - Added an #ifdef ARCH_S3C24XX around the header inclusion in drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c as we would otherwise have colliding definitions when compiling S3C64XX. - Rename inclusion guard in the header file. 2012-07-13ARM: S3C24XX: Convert SMDK board file to the gpiolib APISylwester Nawrocki1-9/+11
Replace SoC specific GPIO functions with the gpiolib API. The LED gpios are freed right after they are initially configured so they can be acquired in the s3c24xx_led driver. This change is required for converting the s3c24xx_led driver to the gpiolib API. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <sylvester.nawrocki@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-03-07ARM: S3C24XX: Move common-smdk code to mach directoryHeiko Stuebner1-0/+207
This code is used by boards based on the S3C2410/S3C2440/S3C2416. The patch includes also a rename of the option, as the smdk code is not a mach itself, but only an extension with common code. Signed-off-by: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
