2023-01-20ARM: pxa: remove unused board filesArnd Bergmann1-575/+0
The majority of all pxa board files has not been touched in a long time, and no users have spoken up in favor of keeping them around. This leaves only support for the platforms that were already converted to DT, as well as the gumstix and spitz/akita/borzoi machines that work in qemu and can still be converted to DT later. 2018-12-17mmc: pxa: Use GPIO descriptor for powerLinus Walleij1-1/+0
After converting the PXA driver to use GPIO descriptors for card detect and write protect it is relatively simple to convert it to also use a descriptor for getting the optional power control GPIO. The polarity inversion flag can also go away from the platform data since this is indicated in the GPIO machine descriptor table. 2015-07-16ARM: pxa: fix dm9000 platform data regressionRobert Jarzmik1-0/+3
Since dm9000 driver added support for a vcc regulator, platform data based platforms have their ethernet broken, as the regulator claiming returns -EPROBE_DEFER and prevents dm9000 loading. This patch fixes this for all pxa boards using dm9000, by using the specific regulator_has_full_constraints() function. This was discovered and tested on the cm-x300 board. 2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-2/+2
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. 2012-07-19[ARM] pxa: remove IRQF_SAMPLE_RANDOM which is now a no-opTheodore Ts'o1-2/+2
With the changes in the random tree, IRQF_SAMPLE_RANDOM is now a no-op; interrupt randomness is now collected unconditionally in a very low-overhead fashion; see commit 775f4b297b. The IRQF_SAMPLE_RANDOM flag was scheduled to be removed in 2009 on the feature-removal-schedule, so this patch is preparation for the final removal of this flag. 2010-12-16ARM: pxa: Access SMEMC via virtual addressesMarek Vasut1-1/+2
This is important because on PXA3xx, the physical mapping of SMEMC registers differs from the one on PXA2xx. In order to get PCMCIA working on both PXA2xx and PXA320, the PCMCIA driver was adjusted accordingly as well. Also, various places in the kernel had to be patched to use __raw_read/__raw_write. The PXA-SPI driver relies on some files / defines which are arm specific and are within the ARM tree. The CE4100 SoC which is x86 has also the SPI core. This patch moves the ssp and spi files from arm/mach-pxa and plat-pxa to include/linux where the CE4100 can access them. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao1-1/+1
delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result. 2009-12-01[ARM] pxa: allow platforms to control which uarts are registeredRussell King1-0/+4
For some platforms, it is inappropriate to register all PXA UARTs. In some cases, the UARTs may not be used, and in others we may want to avoid registering the UARTs to allow other drivers (eg, FICP) to make use of the UART. In addition, a while back there was a request to be able to pass platform data to the UART driver. This patch enables all of this by providing functions platforms can call to register each individual UART. Direct access to USB host controller registers is considered to be not portable, and is usually a bad sign for poorly abstracted interface. Introduce .flags and .power_on_delay to "struct pxaohci_platform_data" so that most platforms don't bother to write their own .init/.exit() sequences.
