2020-08-18ARM: dts: Configure omap4 and 5 l4_abe for genpd and drop platform dataTony Lindgren1-33/+0
We can power off l4_abe domain when not in use when we configure it for genpd. And with that change, we can now also drop the old unused legacy platform data. Note that we also need to now use "simple-pm-bus" instead of "simple-bus" for PM runtime to get enabled for the bus. 2020-07-14ARM: OMAP2+: Drop legacy platform data for omap4 usbTony Lindgren1-193/+0
We can now probe devices with ti-sysc interconnect driver and dts data. Let's drop the related platform data and custom ti,hwmods dts property. As we're just dropping data, and the early platform data init is based on the custom ti,hwmods property, we want to drop both the platform data and ti,hwmods property in a single patch. 2020-05-19ARM: dts: Configure system timers for omap4Tony Lindgren1-90/+0
We can now init system timers using the dmtimer and 32k counter based on only devicetree data and drivers/clocksource timers. Let's configure the clocksource and clockevent, and drop the old unused platform data. As we're just dropping platform data, and the early platform data init is based on the custom ti,hwmods property, we want to drop both the platform data and ti,hwmods property in a single patch. Since the dmtimer can use both 32k clock and system clock as the source, let's also configure the SoC specific default values. The board specific dts files can reconfigure these with assigned-clocks and assigned-clock-parents as needed. 2020-02-27ARM: OMAP4: hwmod_data: Remove OMAP4 IPU hwmod dataSuman Anna1-51/+0
The OMAP4 IPU hwmod is currently not used in DT, and the new DTS node shall be added as per the new OMAP remoteproc bindings with the underneath MMU device relying on the ti-sysc infrastructure. Drop the legacy hwmod data for OMAP4 IPU as this will not be used going forward. Signed-off-by: Suman Anna <s-anna@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2020-02-27ARM: OMAP2+: Drop legacy platform data for OMAP4 DSPSuman Anna1-76/+0
The OMAP4 DSP hwmod is used in DT, but the DT node is not probing any real driver. The DSP device-tree node shall be updated as per the new OMAP remoteproc bindings with the underneath MMU device relying on the ti-sysc infrastructure. Drop the legacy hwmod data for the DSP device along with the custom ti,hwmods property. They have to be dropped together since the early platform data init code is based on the custom ti,hwmods property. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap into arm/late SoC glue layer changes for SGX on omap variants for v5.4 For a while we've had omap4 sgx glue layer defined in dts and probed with ti-sysc driver. This allows idling the sgx module for PM, and removes the need for custom platform glue layer code for any further driver changes. We first drop the unused legacy platform data for omap4 sgx. Then for omap5, we need add the missing clkctrl clock data so we can configure sgx. And we configure sgx for omap34xx, omap36xx and am3517. For am335x, we still have a dependency for rstctrl reset driver changes, so that will be added later on. 2019-04-08ARM: OMAP2+: Drop mmc platform data for omap4Tony Lindgren1-166/+0
We can now drop legacy platform data one interconnect target module at a time in favor of the device tree based data that has been added earlier. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2019-03-26ARM: OMAP2+: Remove hwmod .rev data and use local SoC checks insteadTony Lindgren1-3/+0
We can just check for omap2 and 3 for i2c and smartreflex locally. The rest of the .rev data is already unused. Cc: Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Cc: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2018-05-17i2c: omap: move header to platform_dataWolfram Sang1-1/+1
This header only contains platform_data. Move it to the proper directory. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de> Acked-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2018-04-30ARM: OMAP2+: Use signed value for sysc register offsetsTony Lindgren1-0/+4
We currently don't know if a revision register exists or not. Zero is often a valid offset for the revision register. As we are still checking device tree data against platform data, we will get bogus warnings with correct device tree data because of incomplete platform data. Let's fix the issue by using signed offsets and tag the revision registers that don't exist with -ENODEV, and init the missing ones with the correct revision register offset. 2018-02-14ARM: OMAP2+: Cleanup omap_mcbsp_dev_attr and other legacy dataSuman Anna1-3/+0
The omap_mcbsp_dev_attr data was used to supply instance-specific data for legacy non-DT devices. The legacy McBSP device support including the usage of the hwmod class revision data has been dropped in commit 48f6693790aa ("ARM: OMAP2+: Remove unused legacy code for McBSP") and this data is therefore no longer needed. So, cleanup the structure and all the associated data in various hwmod data files. The omap2_spi_dev_attr data was used to supply instance-specific data for legacy non-DT devices. The SPI legacy device support including the usage of the hwmod class revision data has been dropped in commit 6f3ab009a178 ("ARM: OMAP2+: Remove unused legacy code for device init") and this data is therefore no longer needed.
