git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap into next/soc Merge "SoC related changes for omaps for v3.17 merge window" from Tony Lindgren: - Add device tree and hwmod data for various devices for new SoCs - Remove legacy mailbox hwmod data that's no longer needed for SoCs that are DT only. Note that this may cause a minor merge conflict in mach-omap2/devices.c with omap_init_mbox() and omap_init_hdmi_audio(), both are legacy code that is getting removed * tag 'omap-for-v3.17/soc-new' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap: ARM: DRA7: hwmod: Add data for RTC arm: dra7xx: Add hwmod data for MDIO and CPSW arm: dra7xx: Add hwmod data for pcie1 and pcie2 subsystems arm: dra7xx: Add hwmod data for pcie1 phy and pcie2 phy ARM: DRA7: hwmod: Add OCP2SCP3 module ARM: DRA7: hwmod: remove interrupts for DMA ARM: OMAP2+: DMA: remove requirement of irq for platform-dma driver ARM: AM33xx: hwmod_data: Remove legacy mailbox addrs ARM: OMAP4: hwmod_data: Remove legacy mailbox addrs ARM: OMAP2: hwmod_data: Remove legacy mailbox data and addrs ARM: OMAP2+: Avoid mailbox legacy device creation for DT-boot ARM: DRA7: hwmod_data: Add mailbox hwmod data ARM: dts: DRA7: Add mailbox nodes ARM: dts: AM4372: Correct mailbox node data ARM: dts: AM33xx: Add mailbox node ARM: dts: OMAP4: Add mailbox node ARM: dts: OMAP2+: Add mailbox fifo and user information ARM: AM43xx: hwmod: add DSS hwmod data Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2014-07-15ARM: OMAP2+: Avoid mailbox legacy device creation for DT-bootSuman Anna1-1/+1
The legacy platform device for mailbox should not be created for a DT boot, so adjust the platform device initialization logic appropriately. Signed-off-by: Suman Anna <s-anna@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2014-03-12ARM: OMAP2+: change the ISP device archdata MMU name for DTSuman Anna1-0/+3
The IOMMU DT adaptation support uses the device name instead of an iommu object name. Fixup the ISP device archdata MMU name at runtime if using DT-boot. This allows the OMAP3 camera to be functional in both legacy and DT boots. The iommu object names should eventually vanish when all the IOMMU users have been converted to DT nodes. 2013-10-09ARM: OMAP2+: display: Create omap_vout device inside omap_display_initArchit Taneja1-5/+5
Move omap_vout device creation inside the omap_display_init so that we can correctly create the device based on the presence of omapdss within the platform. For example, on a kernel image supporting multiple platforms, omap_init_vout will create a omapdrm platform device on a AM33xx platform even though it doesn't have a DSS block. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC driver specific changes from Arnd Bergmann: "These changes are all driver specific and cross over between arm-soc contents and some other subsystem, in these cases cpufreq, crypto, dma, pinctrl, mailbox and usb, and the subsystem owners agreed to have these changes merged through arm-soc. As we proceed to untangle the dependencies between platform code and driver code, the amount of changes in this category is fortunately shrinking, for 3.11 we have 16 branches here and 101 non-merge changesets, the majority of which are for the stedma40 dma engine driver used in the ux500 platform. Cleaning up that code touches multiple subsystems, but gets rid of the dependency in the end. The mailbox code moved out from mach-omap2 to drivers/mailbox is an intermediate step and is still omap specific at the moment. Patches exist to generalize the subsystem and add other drivers with the same API, but those did not make it for 3.11." * tag 'drivers-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (101 commits) crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_submit API crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_prep_slave_sg API crypto: ux500: use dmaengine_device_control API crypto: ux500/crypt: add missing __iomem qualifiers crypto: ux500/hash: add missing static qualifiers crypto: ux500/hash: use readl on iomem addresses dmaengine: ste_dma40: Declare memcpy config as static ARM: ux500: Remove mop500_snowball_ethernet_clock_enable() ARM: ux500: Correct the EN_3v3 regulator's on/off GPIO ARM: ux500: Provide a AB8500 GPIO Device Tree node gpio: rcar: fix gpio_rcar_of_table gpio-rcar: Remove #ifdef CONFIG_OF around OF-specific sections gpio-rcar: Reference core gpio documentation in the DT bindings clk: exynos5250: Add enum entries for divider clock of i2s1 and i2s2 ARM: dts: Update Samsung I2S documentation ARM: dts: add clock provider information for i2s controllers in Exynos5250 ARM: dts: add Exynos audio subsystem clock controller node clk: samsung: register audio subsystem clocks using common clock framework ARM: dts: use #include for all device trees for Samsung pinctrl: s3c24xx: use correct header for chained_irq functions ...

2013-06-11mailbox/omap: move the OMAP mailbox framework to driversSuman Anna1-2/+2
The mailbox hardware (in OMAP) uses a queued mailbox interrupt mechanism that provides a communication channel between processors through a set of registers and their associated interrupt signals by sending and receiving messages. The OMAP mailbox framework/driver code is moved to be under drivers/mailbox, in preparation for adapting to a common mailbox driver framework. This allows the build for OMAP mailbox to be enabled (it was disabled during the multi-platform support). As part of the migration from plat and mach code: - Kconfig symbols have been renamed to build OMAP1 or OMAP2+ drivers. - mailbox.h under plat-omap/plat/include has been split into a public and private header files. The public header has only the API related functions and types. - The module name mailbox.ko from plat-omap is changed to omap-mailbox.ko - The module name mailbox_mach.ko from mach-omapX is changed as mailbox_omap1.ko for OMAP1 mailbox_omap2.ko for OMAP2+ Cc: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> [gregkh@linuxfoundation.org: ack for staging part] Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Omar Ramirez Luna <omar.ramirez@copitl.com> Signed-off-by: Suman Anna <s-anna@ti.com>
2013-06-11ARM: OMAP2+: mbox: remove dependencies with soc.hSuman Anna1-1/+8
The OMAP mailbox platform driver code has been cleaned up to remove the dependencies with soc.h in preparation for moving the mailbox code to drivers folder. The code relied on cpu_is_xxx/soc_is_xxx macros previously to pick the the right set of mailbox devices and register with the mailbox driver. This data is now represented in a concise format and moved to the respective omap_hwmod data files and published to the driver through the platform data. 2013-02-15Merge branch 'omap/multiplatform-fixes', tag 'v3.8-rc5' into next/multiplatformArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
The omap multiplatform support uncovered a bug in the cwdavinci_cpdma code and was missing two drivers that are enabled now but are not quite ready for multiplatform, as found by allyesconfig builds. There is also a conflict generated by automated merge in arch/arm/mach-omap2/drm.c between a bug fix that went into v3.8-rc5 and a different version of the same fix that went into the omap/multiplatform branch. This merge removes the extraneous #include that was causing build errors. * omap/multiplatform-fixes: net: cwdavinci_cpdma: export symbols for cpsw remoteproc: omap: depend on OMAP_MBOX_FWK [media] davinci: do not include mach/hardware.h Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2013-02-12ARM: OMAP2+: fix some omap_device_build() calls that aren't compiled by defaultPaul Walmsley1-1/+1
Commit c1d1cd597fc77af3086470f8627d77f52f7f8b6c ("ARM: OMAP2+: omap_device: remove obsolete pm_lats and early_device code") missed a few omap_device_build() calls that aren't included as part of the default OMAP2+ Kconfig, omap2plus_defconfig. Ideally, all devices that are present on the SoC should be created by default, and only the corresponding device driver should be configured or deconfigured in Kconfig. This allows drivers to be built as modules and loaded later, even if they weren't part of the original kernel build. Unfortunately, we're not quite there yet. Thanks to Tony Lindgren for reporting this, found during his randconfig tests. Signed-off-by: Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2013-01-26ARM: OMAP2+: omap_device: remove obsolete pm_lats and early_device codePaul Walmsley1-15/+10
Remove now-obsolete code from arch/arm/mach-omap2/omap_device.c. This mostly consists of removing the first attempt at device PM latency handling. This was never really used, has been replaced by the common dev_pm_qos code, and needs to go away as part of the DT conversion. Also, the early platform_device creation code has been removed, as it appears to be unused. Signed-off-by: Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Cc: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/joro/iommu Pull IOMMU updates from Joerg Roedel: "A few new features this merge-window. The most important one is probably, that dma-debug now warns if a dma-handle is not checked with dma_mapping_error by the device driver. This requires minor changes to some architectures which make use of dma-debug. Most of these changes have the respective Acks by the Arch-Maintainers. Besides that there are updates to the AMD IOMMU driver for refactor the IOMMU-Groups support and to make sure it does not trigger a hardware erratum. The OMAP changes (for which I pulled in a branch from Tony Lindgren's tree) have a conflict in linux-next with the arm-soc tree. The conflict is in the file arch/arm/mach-omap2/clock44xx_data.c which is deleted in the arm-soc tree. It is safe to delete the file too so solve the conflict. Similar changes are done in the arm-soc tree in the common clock framework migration.
