2011-08-01gpio_msm: Move Qualcomm v6 MSM driver into driversDavid Brown1-637/+0
Migrate the driver for the v6-based MSM chips into drivers/gpio. The driver is unchanged, only moved. 2011-08-01msm: gpio: Fold register defs into C fileDavid Brown1-1/+250
No need to have a separate header file containing only register definitions that are used by a single driver. Fold these into the gpio driver. Signed-off-by: David Brown <davidb@codeaurora.org>
2011-08-01msm: gpiomux: Move public API to public headerDavid Brown1-1/+1
The gpiomux.h header contains some SOC ifdefs. However, the API that is actually used by the GPIO driver only uses two functions that are general. Move these general definitions into a public header file. 2011-08-01msm: gpio: Remove ifdefs on gpio chip registersDavid Brown1-7/+26
Select the GPIO register configuration at runtime rather than through idefs. Change-Id: I02ea0a3d61bc81669f32097c32420f0688552231 Signed-off-by: David Brown <davidb@codeaurora.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org>
2011-08-01msm: gpio: Remove chip-specific register definitionsDavid Brown1-31/+31
Put an SOC prefix on each GPIO register definition, eliminating the need to have SOC ifdefs around the definitions. 2011-08-01msm: gpio: Remove unsupported devicesDavid Brown1-7/+0
The MSM7x25 and MSM7x27 devices are not yet supported in the kernel. Remove #ifdef-based tables supporting these chips for now. 2011-03-29arm: Fold irq_set_chip/irq_set_handlerThomas Gleixner1-2/+2
Use irq_set_chip_and_handler() instead. Converted with coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
2011-03-29arm: Cleanup the irq namespaceThomas Gleixner1-7/+7

2010-10-06msm: gpio: Add gpiomux calls to request and free.Gregory Bean1-0/+18
Add gpiomux get and put calls to msmgpio request and free, in order to allow gpio lines to be properly reference-counted and power-managed. Signed-off-by: Gregory Bean <gbean@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Walker <dwalker@codeaurora.org>
2010-10-06msm: add gpio driver for single-core SoCs.Gregory Bean1-0/+358
Install a gpiolib driver supporting the on-chip gpios for single-core MSMs in the 7x00 family, including 7x00A, 7x25, 7x27, 7x30, 8x50, and 8x50a. As part of the ongoing effort to converge on a common code base, this driver is based on the Google-Android msmgpio driver, whose authors include Brian Swetland and Arve Hjønnevåg. 2010-10-06msm: gpio: Remove tlmm routines obsoleted by gpiomux.Gregory Bean1-85/+0
Now that all supported gpio_tlmm_config-using boards are using gpiomux, remove the deprecated code. Signed-off-by: Gregory Bean <gbean@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Walker <dwalker@codeaurora.org>
2010-05-14msm: add tlmm support for gpio.Gregory Bean1-0/+85
GPIO support for Qualcomm SOCs requires interaction with the radio (baseband processor). This API allows the different boards to enable GPIO through the radio processor in a generic way.
