2014-10-02ARM: hisi: depend on ARCH_MULTI_V7Arnd Bergmann1-1/+1
hisi has a general dependency on ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM, which is problematic when building a kernel for non-V7 platforms but selecting drivers that might conflict with other architecture levels. In this case, it broke my (still out of tree) patch set that enables V7M multiplatform support, since that does not enable MULTI_IRQ support: arch/arm/kernel/built-in.o: In function `set_handle_irq': arch/arm/kernel/irq.c:125: undefined reference to `handle_arch_irq' arch/arm/kernel/built-in.o: In function `setup_arch': arch/arm/kernel/setup.c:965: undefined reference to `handle_arch_irq' Since all hisilicon platforms are ARMv7 based, we can avoid this problem by just making the dependency more specific. 2014-09-03ARM: hisi: enable HiP04Haojian Zhuang1-0/+9
Support HiP04 SoC what supports 16 cores. And it relies on MCPM framework. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com>
2014-07-31power: reset: move hisilicon reboot codeHaojian Zhuang1-0/+3
Move reboot code from hisilicon platform driver into reset driver. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Acked-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2014-07-31ARM: hisi: enable hix5hd2 SoCHaifeng Yan1-2/+11
Enable support for the Hisilicon HiX5HD2 SoC. This HiX5HD2 SoC series support both single and dual Cortex-A9 cores. Add ARCH_HIX5HD2 to distinguish HiX5HD2 from Hi3xxx. They are different in implementation such as SMP, IPs integarted and earlycon configure. 2014-07-31ARM: hisi: add ARCH_HISIHaojian Zhuang1-2/+14
Since multiple ARCH configuration will be appended into mach-hisi directory, add ARCH_HISI as common configuration for different platforms in mach-hisi. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Acked-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2014-03-21ARM: hisi: select HAVE_ARM_SCU only for SMPArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
The SCU code does not build unless we are compiling an SMP kernel. This does the same as every other platform with an SCU. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Acked-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@gmail.com>
2014-02-20ARM: select HAVE_SMP for V7 multi-platformRob Herring1-1/+0
All V7 platforms can run SMP kernels, so make CONFIG_SMP visible for V7 multi-platform builds. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Acked-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2014-02-20ARM: centralize common multi-platform kconfig optionsRob Herring1-3/+0
Multi-platform requires various kconfig options to be selected, so platforms don't need to select them individually. 2014-02-03ARM: hisi: fix kconfig warning on HAVE_ARM_TWDRob Herring1-1/+1
Commit "ARM: hisi: don't select SMP" introduced a kconfig warning: warning: (ARCH_HI3xxx) selects HAVE_ARM_TWD which has unmet direct dependencies (SMP) Fix HAVE_ARM_TWD to depend on SMP. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2014-02-01ARM: hisi: don't select SMPRob Herring1-1/+0
SMP is a user configurable option, not a hardware feature and should not be selected. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2013-12-20ARM: hisi: rename hi3xxx to hisiHaojian Zhuang1-0/+17
Since some new Hisilicon SoCs are not named as hi3xxx, rename mach-hi3xxx to mach-hisi instead. And the pronounciation of "hisi" is similar to the chinese pronounciation of Hisilicon. So Hisilicon guys like this name. ARCH_HI3xxx will be renamed later since other drivers are using it and they are still in linux-next git tree. So rename ARCH_HI3xxx later.
