2013-04-08ARM: EXYNOS: Enable PMUs for exynos4Chanho Park1-0/+28
This patch defines irq numbers of ARM performance monitoring unit for exynos4. Firs of all, we need to fix IRQ_PMU correctly and to split pmu initialization of exynos from plat-samsung for easily defining it. The number of CPU cores and PMU irq numbers are vary according to soc types. So, we need to identify each soc type using soc_is_xxx function and to define the pmu irqs dynamically. For example, the exynos4412 has 4 cpu cores and pmus. 2013-04-08ARM: EXYNOS: fix compilation error introduced due to common clock migrationThomas Abraham1-0/+2
The functions exynos4_clk_init and exynos4_clk_register_fixed_ext are applicable only on Exynos4 non-dt platforms. But when building Exynos5 platforms without including Exynos4 platforms, the following errors show up. arch/arm/mach-exynos/built-in.o: In function `exynos_init_time': arch/arm/mach-exynos/common.c:446: undefined reference to `exynos4_clk_init' arch/arm/mach-exynos/common.c:447: undefined reference to `exynos4_clk_register_fixed_ext' Fix this compilation errors by marking these calls as Exynos4 specific. 2013-03-25ARM: EXYNOS: allow legacy board support to specify xxti and xusbxti clock speedThomas Abraham1-0/+3

2013-03-25ARM: EXYNOS: Initialize the clocks prior to timer initializationThomas Abraham1-0/+16
Since the clock initialization should be completed prior to the mct timer initialization, create a new function 'exynos_init_time' that first sets up the clock and then invokes the timer initialization function. 2013-02-22Merge tag 'cleanup' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-socLinus Torvalds1-218/+5
Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann: "A large number of cleanups, all over the platforms. This is dominated largely by the Samsung platforms (s3c, s5p, exynos) and a few of the others moving code out of arch/arm into more appropriate subsystems. The clocksource and irqchip drivers are now abstracted to the point where platforms that are already cleaned up do not need to even specify the driver they use, it can all get configured from the device tree as we do for normal device drivers. The clocksource changes basically touch every single platform in the process. We further clean up the use of platform specific header files here, with the goal of turning more of the platforms over to being "multiplatform" enabled, which implies that they cannot expose their headers to architecture independent code any more. It is expected that no functional changes are part of the cleanup. The overall reduction in total code lines is mostly the result of removing broken and obsolete code." * tag 'cleanup' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (133 commits) ARM: mvebu: correct gated clock documentation ARM: kirkwood: add missing include for nsa310 ARM: exynos: move exynos4210-combiner to drivers/irqchip mfd: db8500-prcmu: update resource passing drivers/db8500-cpufreq: delete dangling include ARM: at91: remove NEOCORE 926 board sunxi: Cleanup the reset code and add meaningful registers defines ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-mem.h local ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-power.h local ARM: S3C24XX: header mach/regs-s3c2412-mem.h local ARM: S3C24XX: Remove plat-s3c24xx directory in arch/arm/ ARM: S3C24XX: transform s3c2443 subirqs into new structure ARM: S3C24XX: modify s3c2443 irq init to initialize all irqs ARM: S3C24XX: move s3c2443 irq code to irq.c ARM: S3C24XX: transform s3c2416 irqs into new structure ARM: S3C24XX: modify s3c2416 irq init to initialize all irqs ARM: S3C24XX: move s3c2416 irq init to common irq code ARM: S3C24XX: Modify s3c_irq_wake to use the hwirq property ARM: S3C24XX: Move irq syscore-ops to irq-pm clocksource: always define CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE ...
2013-02-13ARM: exynos: move exynos4210-combiner to drivers/irqchipRob Herring1-216/+2
Exynos boot is broken with commit 0529e315 (ARM: use common irqchip_init for GIC init). This commit split the irqchip initialization into 2 calls to of_irq_init. This does not work because of_irq_init requires interrupt parents to be in the match list. Rather than reverting exynos changes, make it do the proper thing by using IRQCHIP_DECLARE. This requires moving the combiner code to drivers/irqchip. 2012-11-28ARM: EXYNOS: Avoid early use of of_machine_is_compatible()Doug Anderson1-4/+15
The recent commit "ARM: EXYNOS: add support for EXYNOS5440 SoC" broke support for exynos5250 because of_machine_is_compatible() was used too early in the boot process. It also probably meant that the exynos5440 failed to use the proper iotable. Switch to use of_flat_dt_is_compatible() in both of these cases. The failure I was seeing in exynos5250 because of this was: Division by zero in kernel. 2012-10-17ARM: SAMSUNG: Add naming of s3c64xx-spi devicesHeiko Stuebner1-0/+5
Commit a5238e360b71 (spi: s3c64xx: move controller information into driver data) introduced separate device names for the different subtypes of the spi controller but forgot to set these in the relevant machines. To fix this introduce a s3c64xx_spi_setname function and populate all Samsung arches with the correct names. The function resides in a new header, as the s3c64xx-spi.h contains driver platform data and should therefore at some later point move out of the Samsung include dir. Tested on a s3c2416-based machine. 2012-05-16ARM: EXYNOS: Remove a new bus_type instance for EXYNOS5Thomas Abraham1-21/+6
A seperate bus_type instance is not required for EXYNOS5. The existing bus_type instance used with EXYNOS4 is sufficient for both EXYNOS4 and EXYNOS5. This also solves issue of uninitialized usage of exynos4_subsys in EXYNOS4 power management code that is reused for EXYNOS5 also.
