2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Provide default muxing for relevant controllersMaxime Ripard1-0/+5
The I2C's, MMC0 and MMC1 controllers have only one muxing option in the SoC. In such a case, we can just move the muxing into the DTSI, and remove it from the DTS. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: A10s: Remove empty SRAM nodeMaxime Ripard1-3/+0
The SRAM node in the A10s DTSI is empty, remove it. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: a10s: Fix HDMI output DTC warningMaxime Ripard1-2/+0
Our HDMI output endpoint on the A10s DTSI has a warning under DTC: "graph node has single child node 'endpoint', #address-cells/#size-cells are not necessary". Fix this by removing those properties. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Change pinctrl nodes to avoid warningMaxime Ripard1-6/+6
All our pinctrl nodes were using a node name convention with a unit-address to differentiate the different muxing options. However, since those nodes didn't have a reg property, they were generating warnings in DTC. In order to accomodate for this, convert the old nodes to the syntax we've been using for the new SoCs, including removing the letter suffix of the node labels to the bank of those pins to make things more readable. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Remove redundant interrupt-controllerMaxime Ripard1-2/+0
The interrupt-parent property is set in sun5i.dtsi, so there's no need to repeat it. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Remove SoC node unit-name to avoid warningsMaxime Ripard1-1/+1
Our main node for all the in-SoC controllers used to have a unit name. The unit-name, in addition to being actually false, would not match any reg property, which generates a warning. Remove it in order to remove those warnings. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Remove skeleton to avoid warningsMaxime Ripard1-2/+0
Using skeleton.dtsi will create a memory node that will generate a warning in DTC. However, that node will be created by the bootloader, so we can just remove it entirely in order to remove that warning. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun5i: Change framebuffer node names to avoid warningsMaxime Ripard1-1/+1
The simple-framebuffer nodes have a unit address, but no reg property which generates a warning when compiling it with DTC. Change the simple-framebuffer node names so that there is no warnings on this anymore. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2017-12-05ARM: dts: sunxi: Convert to CCU index macros for HDMI controllerChen-Yu Tsai1-2/+2
When the HDMI controller device node was added, the needed PLL clock macros were not exported. A separate patch addresses that, but it is merged through a different tree. Now that both patches are in mainline proper, we can convert the raw numbers to proper macros. Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
2017-10-20arm: dts: fix unit-address leading 0sRob Herring1-3/+3
Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using the following command: perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*' Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some occurrences of uppercase hex. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2017-05-19ARM: sun5i: a10s: Add the HDMI controller nodeMaxime Ripard1-0/+47
The A10s has an HDMI controller connected to the second TCON channel. Add it to our DT. Since the TV Encoder was the only channel 1 user so far, also add the property now that we have several users. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com> [wens@csie.org: Replaced CLK_PLL_VIDEO[01]_2X with raw numbers for now Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2017-03-27ARM: dts: sunxi: Remove no longer used pinctrl/sun4i-a10.h headerChen-Yu Tsai1-1/+0
All dts files for the sunxi platform have been switched to the generic pinconf bindings. As a result, the sunxi specific pinctrl macros are no longer used. Remove the #include entry with the following command: sed --follow-symlinks -i -e '/pinctrl\/sun4i-a10.h/D' \ arch/arm/boot/dts/sun?i*.* arch/arm/boot/dts/sun9i-a80.dtsi was then edited to remove the extra empty line. Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
2017-03-06ARM: sun5i: a10s: Merge common controllers into the common DTSIMaxime Ripard1-70/+0
Some controllers found in the A10s DTSI actually apply to all of the sun5i family. Move those into the common DTSI so that all SoCs can benefit from it. Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
2017-03-06ARM: sun5i: Add UART2 pin groupMaxime Ripard1-1/+1
There's one UART2 pin group that can be used across all sun5i SoCs. However, the A10s already has one pin group for that controller. Change the index of the one in the A10s DTSI, and add the common one to sun5i.dtsi Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
2017-03-06ARM: sun5i: a10s: switch simple framebuffer indicesMaxime Ripard1-3/+3
Of the three simple framebuffer setups we have in the A10s, two of them can be shared with the other SoCs from the sun5i family (LCD panel and composite output). However, the only one we cannot share is the HDMI, which is the first listed in the A10s DTSI. In order to make it more logical and so that we can share the framebuffer nodes in the common DTSI, reorder those nodes. Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
2017-03-06ARM: sun5i: A10s: Switch the EMAC pins indicesMaxime Ripard1-2/+2
One of the pins group for the EMAC can be used by all the SoCs of the sun5i family, and as such can be moved to the common DTSI. Unfortunately, this group is the second one we declare in our DT for now. Make it the first one so that it's more logical and consistent with the rest of our DTs before moving it. Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>

2015-04-27ARM: dts: sun5i: Stop using different compatibles for ehci/ohci on a13 vs a10sHans de Goede1-8/+0
The A13 and the A10s use the same die (this has been confirmed by Allwinner), as such there is no need to differentiate between the ehci/ohci parts of both, the only reasons there were different allwinner,sun5i-a*-foo compatible between these 2 parts is costemetically and because we could when we still had 2 completely different dtsi files. The allwinner,sun5i-a*-foo compatible strings are not used for binding at all, the actual driver binds to the generic-?hci compatible, so we can safely remove this cosmetical difference and simplify the dtsi files. Additionally the framework core underwent a bit of surgery with two major changes: - The boundary between the clock core and clock providers (e.g clock drivers) is now more well defined with dedicated provider helper functions. struct clk no longer maps 1:1 with the hardware clock but is a true per-user cookie which helps us tracker users of hardware clocks and debug bad behavior. - The addition of rate constraints for clocks. 2014-11-23ARM: dts: sunxi: Update simplefb nodes so that u-boot can find themHans de Goede1-2/+3
Review of the u-boot sunxi simplefb patches has led to the decision that u-boot should not use a specific path to find the nodes as this goes contrary to how devicetree usually works. Instead a platform specific compatible + properties should be used for this. The simplefb bindings have already been updated to reflect this, this patch brings the sunxi devicetree files in line with the new binding, and the actual u-boot implementation as it is going upstream.
