2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring1-211/+0
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2023-05-17ARM: dts: ux500: Fix STMPE device nodesLinus Walleij1-3/+2
The STMPE device nodes need to be augmented to fit with current naming policies. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230508070811.965762-1-linus.walleij@linaro.org
2020-11-06ARM: dts: ux500: Rename DSI controller nodesLinus Walleij1-1/+1
Rename the DSI controller nodes from "dsi-controller@" to "dsi@" so they match the naming convention in the YAML schema for DSI controllers. 2020-03-27ARM: dts: ux500: Fix missing node renamesLinus Walleij1-1/+1
I renamed the dsi-nodes from dsi@ to dsi-controller@ so that the schema check would kick in, but missed to rename it in a few places. Set up the STMPE IRQ line to be in pull-up mode. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

2019-04-18ARM: dts: Ux500: Add MCDE and Samsung displayLinus Walleij1-0/+13
This adds and updates the device tree nodes for the MCDE display controller and connects the Samsung display to the TVK1281618 user interface board (UIB) so we get nicely working graphics on this reference design. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2017-10-20arm: dts: fix unit-address leading 0sRob Herring1-1/+1
Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using the following command: perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*' Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some occurrences of uppercase hex. 2016-03-29ARM: dts: ux500: use the GPIO DT headerLinus Walleij1-2/+2
Use the <dt-bindings/gpio/gpio.h> header instead of using hardcoded values for the GPIO flags. Eradicate the totally bogus "0x4" flag used and set that to GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH as is proper, switch the inverted card detect on the Snowball to flag using GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW instead of using the MMC-specific inversion flag. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2015-11-17ARM: ux500: push down Rohm TS to STUIBLinus Walleij1-0/+23
The Rohm touchscreen reset and IRQ lines were registered and configured at the HREF board level of the design, but it is an integral part of the UIB (User Interface Board). Fix this by pushing down the pin control node to the u8500 UIB file. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2015-05-13ARM: ux500: add the sensors to the STUIB boardLinus Walleij1-0/+50
This adds the device tree data for the LIS331DL and the AK8974 magnetometer to the STUIB board device tree include file. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-10-20pinctrl: nomadik: force-convert to generic config bindingsLinus Walleij1-2/+2
This converts the Nomadik pin controller and all associated device trees to use the standard, generic config bindings for pin controllers. There are no such device trees deployed in the wild so this is safe to do to set a good example. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-07-07ARM: ux500: add VCC and VIO regulators to STMPE ICLinus Walleij1-0/+2
Add a VCC and VIO regulator supplies to the the STMPE expander found on the STUIB UIB variants. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-11-27ARM: ux500: move GPIO key configuration to device treeLinus Walleij1-0/+41
This moves over the configuration of the GPIO keys (used for proximity sensor and Hall effect sensor) from the static pin configuration file to the device tree. As part of the exercise, implement the GPIO keys properly in a per-UIB file as this setup actually differs with each UIB. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-10-03ARM: ux500: move BU21013 touchpad GPIOs into top-level DTSLinus Walleij1-2/+0
The BU21013 touchscreen GPIOs have been pretty confused, correct them per board, and move the GPIO assignments up to the top level DTS file so we can control it from there, and avoid defining the GPIO assignments for non-ST UIB equipped boards. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-10-02ARM: ux500: split HREF UIB filesLinus Walleij1-0/+80
Create two different UIB (User Interface Board) include files: one per UIB simply. The include files now only handle the devices on that very UIB. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
