The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit
unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to
move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned
(any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by
vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure.
There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on
install.
The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference:
- Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom)
- Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have
been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx)
- Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any
company (e.g. gemini, nspire)
The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few
makefile fixups.

Rename the DSI controller nodes from "dsi-controller@"

so that the schema check would kick in, but missed to
rename it in a few places.

This adds and updates the device tree nodes for the MCDE
display controller and connects the Samsung display to
the TVK1281618 user interface board (UIB) so we get
nicely working graphics on this reference design.

Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using
the following command:
perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*'
Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some
occurrences of uppercase hex.

Use the <dt-bindings/gpio/gpio.h> header instead of using
hardcoded values for the GPIO flags. Eradicate the totally
bogus "0x4" flag used and set that to GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH as is
proper, switch the inverted card detect on the Snowball to
flag using GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW instead of using the MMC-specific
inversion flag.

The Rohm touchscreen reset and IRQ lines were registered and
configured at the HREF board level of the design, but it is an
integral part of the UIB (User Interface Board). Fix this by
pushing down the pin control node to the u8500 UIB file.

This converts the Nomadik pin controller and all associated device

There are no such device trees deployed in the wild so this is
safe to do to set a good example.

This moves over the configuration of the GPIO keys (used for
proximity sensor and Hall effect sensor) from the static pin
configuration file to the device tree. As part of the exercise,
implement the GPIO keys properly in a per-UIB file as this
setup actually differs with each UIB.

them per board, and move the GPIO assignments up to the top
level DTS file so we can control it from there, and avoid defining
the GPIO assignments for non-ST UIB equipped boards.
