2020-09-11ARM: dts: s3c24xx: align PWM/timer node name with dtschemaKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
Although PWM is used on S3C24xx as clocksource/timer, the dtschema expects the node to be named in certain format: timer@51000000: $nodename:0: 'timer@51000000' does not match '^pwm(@.*|-[0-9a-f])*$' Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200907183313.29234-10-krzk@kernel.org
2020-09-11ARM: dts: s3c24xx: override nodes by labelKrzysztof Kozlowski1-11/+11
Using full paths to extend or override a device tree node is error prone. If there was a typo error, a new node will be created instead of extending the existing node. This will lead to run-time errors that could be hard to detect. A mistyped label on the other hand, will cause a dtc compile error (during build time). 2020-09-11ARM: dts: s3c24xx: fix number of PWM cellsKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
The PWM has only three cells, not four, as pointed out by dtschema: timer@51000000: #pwm-cells:0:0: 3 was expected Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200907183313.29234-8-krzk@kernel.org
2018-05-07ARM: dts: s3c24xx: Remove skeleton.dtsi and fix DTC warning for /memoryKrzysztof Kozlowski1-2/+2
Remove the usage of skeleton.dtsi to fix the DTC warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/s3c2416-smdk2416.dtb: Warning (unit_address_vs_reg): /memory: node has a reg or ranges property, but no unit name Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-01-03ARM: dts: s3c24xx: Add SPDX license identifiersKrzysztof Kozlowski1-4/+1
Replace GPL v2.0 license statements with SPDX license identifiers. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2014-07-10ARM: dts: SAMSUNG: Add aliases of UART nodesTomasz Figa1-3/+6
This patch adds alias entries for UART nodes of all SoCs using samsung-uart compatible UART controllers, so that the dependency on probe order is removed and deterministic device naming is assured. 2013-06-18ARM: dts: use #include for all device trees for SamsungPadmavathi Venna1-1/+1
Replace /include/ (dtc) with #include (C pre-processor) for all Samsung DT files Signed-off-by: Padmavathi Venna <padma.v@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Doug Anderson <dianders@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2013-05-20ARM: dts: add devicetree support for s3c2416-smdk2416Heiko Stuebner1-0/+92
Definitions in s3c24xx.dtsi are usable for all s3c24xx SoCs, but some need to be extended with proper compatible properties, as can be seen in s3c2416.dtsi.
