2020-07-13Replace HTTP links with HTTPS ones: OMAP DEVICE TREE SUPPORTAlexander A. Klimov1-1/+1
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2019-12-17ARM: dts: Configure interconnect target module for omap3 sdmaTony Lindgren1-0/+4
We can now probe devices with device tree only configuration using ti-sysc interconnect target module driver. Let's configure the module, but keep the legacy "ti,hwmods" peroperty to avoid new boot time warnings. The legacy property will be removed in later patches together with the legacy platform data. Note that we want to use separate compatible for omap34xx and omap36xx so let's do that here too while at it. 2019-10-10ARM: dts: omap36xx: using OPP1G needs to control the abb_ldoH. Nikolaus Schaller1-5/+16
See DM3730,DM275 data sheet (SPRS685B) footnote (6) in Table 4-19 which says that ABB must be switched to FBB mode when using the OPP1G. The LOD definition abb_mpu_iva already exists so that we need to add plumbing for vbb-supply = <&abb_mpu_iva> and define two voltage vectors for each OPP so that the abb LDO is also updated by the ti-cpufreq driver. We also must switch the ti_cpufreq_soc_data to multi_regulator. Note: reading out the abb reglator voltage to verify that it does do transitions can be done by cat /sys/devices/platform/68000000.ocp/483072f0.regulator-abb-mpu/regulator/regulator.*/microvolts Likewise, read the twl4030 provided VDD voltage by cat /sys/devices/platform/68000000.ocp/48070000.i2c/i2c-0/0-0048/48070000.i2c:twl@48:regulator-vdd1/regulator/regulator.*/microvolts Note: to check if the ABB FBB is enabled/disabled, check registers PRM_LDO_ABB_CTRL 0x483072F4 bit 3:0 1=bypass 5=FBB PRM_LDO_ABB_SETUP 0x483072F0 0x00=bypass 0x11=FBB e.g. /dev/mem opened. 2019-10-10ARM: dts: omap34xx & omap36xx: replace opp-v1 tables by opp-v2 forH. Nikolaus Schaller1-8/+46
With the driver installed, we can change the opp-v1 table format to opp-v2. In addition, move omap3 from whitelist to blacklist in cpufreq-dt-platdev in the same patch, because doing either first breaks operation and may make trouble in bisect. We also can remove opp-v1 table for omap3-n950-n9 since its 1GHz capability is now automatically detected. We also fix a wrong OPP4 voltage for omap3430 which must be 0.6V + 54*12.5mV = 1275mV. Otherwise the twl4030 driver will reject this OPP. Note: the high speed OPPs that were not available in the opp-v1 tables are tagged "turbo-mode;" which means they are not automatically activated by the govenors or cpu-freq. To enable you have to write echo 1 >/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/boost Note: to hard disable an OPP in a board.dts file use e.g. &cpu0_opp_table: { /delete-node/ opp1g-1000000000; /* do not use */ }; or alternatively: &cpu0_opp_table: { opp1g-1000000000 { status = "disabled"; /* do not use */ }; }; Signed-off-by: H. 2019-08-26ARM: dts: Configure interconnect target module for omap3 sgxTony Lindgren1-0/+28
Looks like omap34xx OCP registers are not readable unlike on omap36xx. We use SGX revision register instead of the OCP revision register for 34xx and do not configure any SYSCONFIG register unlike for 36xx. I've tested that the interconnect target module enables and idles just fine with PM runtime control via sys: # echo on > $(find /sys -name control | grep \/5000); rwmem 0x5000fe10 # rwmem 0x50000014 # SGX revision register on 36xx 0x50000014 = 0x00010205 # echo auto > $(find /sys -name control | grep \/5000) # rwmem 0x5000fe00 And when idled, it will produce "Bus error" as expected. 2018-01-13ARM: dts: Update ti-sysc data for existing usersTony Lindgren1-0/+46
Let's update the existing users with features and clock data as specified in the binding. This is currently the smartreflex for most part, and also few omap4 modules with no child device driver like mcasp, abe iss and gfx. Note that we had few mistakes that did not get noticed as we're still probing the SmartReflex driver with legacy platform data and using "ti,hwmods" legacy property for ti-sysc driver. So let's fix the omap4 and dra7 smartreflex registers as there is no no revision register. And on omap4, the mcasp module has a revision register according to the TRM. And for omap34xx we need a different configuration compared to 36xx. And the smartreflex on 3517 we've always kept disabled so let's remove any references to it. 2015-04-15Merge branch 'omap/dt' into next/lateArnd Bergmann1-0/+17
As pointed out by Stephen Rothwell, commit e52117638b79 ("ARM: dts: omap3: Add DT entries for OMAP 3 ISP") conflicts with b8845074cfbb ("ARM: dts: omap3: add minimal l4 bus layout with control module support") in non-obvious ways, causing a build failure when both patches are present. This merges the two branches that introduce the respective changes into the next/late branch to resolve the way that Stephen suggested, as confirmed by Tony. 2014-01-08ARM: dts: Split omap3 pinmux core deviceLaurent Pinchart1-0/+11
The omap3_pmx_core pinmux device in the device tree handles the system controller module (SCM) PADCONFS fonction. Its control registers are split in two distinct areas, with other SCM registers in-between. Those other registers can't thus be requested by other drivers as the memory region gets reserved by the pinmux driver. Split the omap3_pmx_core device tree node in two for the two memory regions. The second region address and size depends on the SoC model. The change in omap3.dtsi fixes an "external abort on non-linefetch" when doing cat /sys/kernel/debug/pinctrl/.../pins on a Nokia N900. Note that the core2 padconf region is different for 3430 vs 3630, and does not exist on 3517 as noted by Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com>.
