2019-04-11ARM: dts: imx50: Specify IMX5_CLK_IPG as "ahb" clock to SDMAAndrey Smirnov1-1/+1
Since 25aaa75df1e6 SDMA driver uses clock rates of "ipg" and "ahb" clock to determine if it needs to configure the IP block as operating at 1:1 or 1:2 clock ratio (ACR bit in SDMAARM_CONFIG). Specifying both clocks as IMX5_CLK_SDMA results in driver incorrectly thinking that ratio is 1:1 which results in broken SDMA funtionality. Fix the code to specify IMX5_CLK_AHB as "ahb" clock for SDMA, to avoid detecting incorrect clock ratio. Even though the ChipIdea USB controller binding[1] doesn't specify the properties that reference a PHY as required, the Linux driver requires[2] such a reference. The clock situation is like on i.MX53: The USB controller is clocked from IMX5_CLK_USBOH3_GATE and the PHY from IMX5_CLK_USB_PHY1_GATE. 2017-06-05ARM: dts: imx: Fix Ethernet PHY reset polarityFabio Estevam1-0/+1
The FEC driver ignores the GPIO polarity from 'phy-reset-gpios' and considers that the Ethernet PHY is active low, unless the property 'phy-reset-active-high' is present. Fix the device tree description by explicitly passing the 'GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW' flag to the 'phy-reset-gpios' property. According to the reference manuals, both imx50/imx53 SOC seem to share the same eSDHC controller, especially the section on "Multi-block Read" mentioned in commit 361b8482026c ("mmc: sdhci-esdhc-imx: fix multiblock reads on i.MX53") is identical for both SOC. 2017-01-24ARM: dts: imx: Pass 'chosen' and 'memory' nodesFabio Estevam1-0/+8
Commit 7f107887d199 ("ARM: dts: imx: Remove skeleton.dtsi") causes boot issues when the bootloader does not create a 'chosen' node if such node is not present in the dtb. The reason for the boot failure is well explained by Javier Martinez Canillas: "the decompressor relies on a pre-existing chosen node to be available to insert the command line and merge other ATAGS info." , so pass an empty 'chosen' node to fix the boot problem. This issue has been seen in the kernelci reports with Barebox as bootloader. Also pass the 'memory' node in order to fix boot issues on the SolidRun iMX6 platforms.
