2023-02-26dt-bindings: rtc: qcom-pm8xxx: add nvmem-cell offsetJohan Hovold1-0/+12
On many Qualcomm platforms the PMIC RTC control and time registers are read-only so that the RTC time can not be updated. Instead an offset needs be stored in some machine-specific non-volatile memory, which a driver can take into account. Add an 'offset' nvmem cell which can be used to store a 32-bit offset from the Unix epoch so that the RTC time can be updated on such platforms. 2023-02-10dt-bindings: rtc: Add #clock-cells propertyPaul Cercueil1-0/+29
The RTC in the JZ4770 is compatible with the JZ4760, but has an extra register that permits to configure the behaviour of the CLK32K pin. The same goes for the RTC in the JZ4780. With this change, the RTC node is now also a clock provider on these SoCs, so a #clock-cells property is added. Another round of removing redundant minItems/maxItems when 'items' list is specified. This time it is in if/then schemas as the meta-schema was failing to check this case. If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. These new RTC variants all have a single alarm, like the R40 variant. For the new SoCs, start requiring a complete list of input clocks. The H616 has three required clocks. The R329 also has three required clocks (but one is different), plus an optional crystal oscillator input. The D1 RTC is identical to the one in the R329. And since these new SoCs will have a well-defined output clock order as well, they do not need the clock-output-names property.
