2020-11-16media: dt-bindings: media: ov772x: Make bus-type mandatoryJacopo Mondi1-0/+16
In order to establish required properties based on the selected bus type, make the 'bus-type' property mandatory. As this change documents an endpoint property, also document the 'remote-endpoint' one now that the 'endpoint' schema has been expanded. Binary compatibility with existing DTB is kept as the driver does not enforce the property to be present, and shall fall-back to default parallel bus configuration, which was the only supported bus type, if the property is not specified. Venus needs to vote for the performance state of a power domain (cx) to be able to support DVFS. This 'cx' power domain is controlled by rpmh and is a common power domain (scalable) not specific to venus alone. This is optional in the sense that, leaving this power domain out does not really impact the functionality but just makes the platform a little less power efficient. The parallel port nodes should be numbered 1 and 2, not 0 and 1 for A and B respectively. The driver has always implemented 1 and 2 and the in-tree Goni DTS uses 1 as port A as well. 2020-08-14dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring1-23/+20
Another wack-a-mole pass of killing off unnecessary 'allOf + $ref' usage. json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. 2020-06-11dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring1-2/+1
Another round of 'allOf' removals that came in this cycle. json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works.
