2021-12-17dt-bindings: dma: ingenic: Support #dma-cells = <3>Paul Cercueil1-5/+11
Extend the binding to support specifying a different request type for each direction. Signed-off-by: Paul Cercueil <paul@crapouillou.net> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20211206174259.68133-3-paul@crapouillou.net Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vkoul@kernel.org>
2021-12-17dt-bindings: dma: ingenic: Add compatible strings for MDMA and BDMAPaul Cercueil1-9/+17
The JZ4760 and JZ4760B SoCs have two additional DMA controllers: the MDMA, which only supports memcpy operations, and the BDMA which is mostly used for transfer between memories and the BCH controller. The JZ4770 also features the same BDMA as in the JZ4760B, but does not seem to have a MDMA. 2021-11-12dt-bindings: Rename Ingenic CGU headers to ingenic,*.hPaul Cercueil1-1/+1
Tidy up a bit the tree, by prefixing all include/dt-bindings/clock/ files related to Ingenic SoCs with 'ingenic,'. 2021-01-26dt-bindings: dma: ingenic: Add compatible strings for JZ4760(B) SoCsPaul Cercueil1-0/+2
Add ingenic,jz4760-dma and ingenic,jz4760b-dma compatible strings to support the DMA engines present in the JZ4760 and JZ4760B SoCs. 2020-12-19dt-bindings: Fix JSON pointersRob Herring1-1/+1
The correct syntax for JSON pointers begins with a '/' after the '#'. Without a '/', the string should be interpreted as a subschema identifier. The jsonschema module currently doesn't handle subschema identifiers and incorrectly allows JSON pointers to begin without a '/'. Let's fix this before it becomes a problem when jsonschema module is fixed. 2020-10-07dt-bindings: Add missing 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring1-0/+2
This doesn't yet do anything in the tools, but make it explicit so we can check either 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties' is present in schemas. 'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via '$ref') and all possible properties and/or child nodes are not explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'. This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a constant source of review issues.
