2022-08-26dt-bindings: display: bridge: icn6211: Add support for external REFCLKMarek Vasut1-0/+9
The ICN6211 is capable of deriving its internal PLL clock from either MIPI DSI HS clock, external REFCLK clock, or even internal oscillator. Currently supported is only the first option. Document support for external REFCLK clock input in addition to that. 2022-05-23dt-bindings: Fix properties without any typeRob Herring1-0/+1
Now that the schema tools can extract type information for all properties (in order to decode dtb files), finding properties missing any type definition is fairly trivial though not yet automated. Fix the various property schemas which are missing a type. Most of these tend to be device specific properties which don't have a vendor prefix. A vendor prefix is how we normally ensure a type is defined. Another round of removing redundant minItems/maxItems when 'items' list is specified. This time it is in if/then schemas as the meta-schema was failing to check this case. If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. MIPI-DSI devices, if they are controlled through the bus itself, have to be described as a child node of the controller they are attached to. Thus, there's no requirement on the controller having an OF-Graph output port to model the data stream: it's assumed that it would go from the parent to the child. However, some bridges controlled through the DSI bus still require an input OF-Graph port, thus requiring a controller with an OF-Graph output port. This prevents those bridges from being used with the controllers that do not have one without any particular reason to. Let's drop that requirement.
