2011-10-27h8300: Move gpio.h to gpio-internal.hMark Brown3-2/+2
The current h8300 GPIO implementation doesn't provide the standard GPIO API, and in fact provides only direction control rather than normal GPIO functionality. Currently this is only used by the platform interrupt implementation rather than by a range of drivers so in preparation for moving over to gpiolib move the header out of the way of the gpiolib header, allowing a default GPIO implementation to be provided. For actual use of these GPIOs with gpiolib a real driver would still need to be written but there appears to be no current need for this. 2011-10-27gpio: pl061: add DT binding supportRob Herring2-12/+22
This adds devicetree binding support to the ARM pl061 driver removing the platform_data dependency. When DT binding is used, the gpio numbering is assigned dynamically. For now, interrupts are not supported with DT until irqdomains learn dynamic irq assignment. Rather than add another case of -1, updating the driver to use NO_IRQ. 2011-10-24gpiolib: Ensure struct gpio is always definedMark Brown2-22/+13
Currently struct gpio is only defined when using gpiolib which makes the stub gpio_request_array() much less useful in drivers than is ideal as they can't work with struct gpio. Since there are no other definitions in kernel instead make the define always available no matter if gpiolib is selectable or selected, ensuring that drivers can always use the type. 2011-09-11Btrfs: fix the file extent gap when doing direct IOMiao Xie1-6/+10
When we write some data to the place that is beyond the end of the file in direct I/O mode, a data hole will be created. And Btrfs should insert a file extent item that point to this hole into the fs tree. But unfortunately Btrfs forgets doing it. However, btrfs_ino() does not take this into account, and returns a wrong ino, and causes the oops. 2011-09-11[media] vp7045: fix buffer setupFlorian Mickler1-22/+4
dvb_usb_device_init calls the frontend_attach method of this driver which uses vp7045_usb_ob. In order to have a buffer ready in vp7045_usb_op, it has to be allocated before that happens. Luckily we can use the whole private data as the buffer as it gets separately allocated on the heap via kzalloc in dvb_usb_device_init and is thus apt for use via usb_control_msg. This fixes a BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 0000000000001e78 reported by Tino Keitel and diagnosed by Dan Carpenter. 2011-09-11[media] nuvoton-cir: simplify raw IR sample handlingJarod Wilson2-38/+8
The nuvoton-cir driver was storing up consecutive pulse-pulse and space-space samples internally, for no good reason, since ir_raw_event_store_with_filter() already merges back to back like samples types for us. This should also fix a regression introduced late in 3.0 that related to a timeout change, which actually becomes correct when coupled with this change. Tested with RC6 and RC5 on my own nuvoton-cir hardware atop vanilla 3.0.0, after verifying quirky behavior in 3.0 due to the timeout change.
