BRBE emits IRQ and ERET branches for branching and returning from
trapped instructions. Add a test that loops on a trapped instruction
(MRS - Read special register) for this.

Extend the expected 'any_call' branches to include FAULT_DATA and
FAULT_INST as these are emitted by BRBE.

Test that SYSCALL type branches are emitted from the expected 'getppid'
symbol. Test that when only 'k' is used, sources addresses are all in
the kernel. Test that no kernel addresses leak by checking for them in
the 'u' test.

check_branches() will be used by other tests in a later commit so make
it a function. And the any_call filters are duplicated and will also
be extended in a later commit, so move them to a variable.

On continuous testing the perf script output can be empty, or nearly
empty, causing tr/grep to exit and due to "set -e" the test traps and
fails.

Add some empty file handling that sets the test to skip and make grep
and other text rewriting failures non-fatal by adding "|| true".

The brstack test runs quite slowly in software models. Part of the reason
is "xargs -n1" is quite inefficient in replacing spaces with newlines.

While that's not noticeable on normal machines, it is on software models.

Use "tr -s ' ' '\n'" instead which can do the same transformation, but is
much faster. For comparison on an M1 Macbook Pro:

  $ time seq -s ' ' 10000 | xargs -n1 &gt; /dev/null

  real    0m2.729s
  user    0m2.009s
  sys     0m0.914s
  $ time seq -s ' ' 10000 | tr -s ' ' '\n' | grep '.' &gt; /dev/null

  real    0m0.002s
  user    0m0.001s
  sys     0m0.001s

The "grep '.'" is also needed to remove any remaining blank lines.

The test "Check branch stack sampling" depends on finding symbol
brstack_bench (and several others) in perf, and fails if perf has been
stripped and no debug object is available. In that case, skip the test
instead.

Example:

Fix all the POSIX sh warnings in perf shell test test_brstack.sh
Warnings fixed :
* In POSIX sh, using lower/mixed case for signal names is undefined.
Correcting that in this script.
* In POSIX sh, 'local' is undefined.
local is supported in many shells, but it's not in POSIX.
In POSIX sh, you can adopt some convention to avoid accidentally
overwriting variables names, e.g. prefixing with the function name,
that is what I have done here.

With the addition of new branch flags, the "brstacksym" fields in perf
script output now shows speculation information after the branch type.
Change the regular expressions accordingly for the test to pass. Since
branch speculation information may vary across platforms, the test does
not look for specific values.

<title>perf tools: Use "grep -E" instead of "egrep"</title>

The latest version of grep claims the egrep is now obsolete so the build
now contains warnings that look like:

	egrep: warning: egrep is obsolescent; using grep -E

fix this up by moving the related file to use "grep -E" instead.

  sed -i "s/egrep/grep -E/g" `grep egrep -rwl tools/perf`

Here are the steps to install the latest grep:

  wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/grep/grep-3.8.tar.gz
  tar xf grep-3.8.tar.gz
  cd grep-3.8 &amp;&amp; ./configure &amp;&amp; make
  sudo make install
  export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH
