[ Upstream commit 6ae0042f4d3f331e841495eb0a3d51598e593ec2 ] Subshell evaluations are not exempt from errexit, so if a command is not available, `which` will fail and exit the script as a whole. This causes the helpful error messages to not be printed if they are tacked on using a `$?` comparison. Resolve the issue by using chains of logical operators, which are not subject to the effects of errexit. The arrays for the policy capability names, the initial sid identifiers and the class and permission names are not changed at runtime. Declare them const to avoid accidental modification. Do not override the classmap and the initial sid list in the build time script genheaders. Check flose(3) is successful in genheaders.c, otherwise the written data might be corrupted or incomplete. Presently mdp does not enable any SELinux policy capabilities in the dummy policy it generates. Thus, policies derived from it will by default lack various features commonly used in modern policies such as open permission, extended socket classes, network peer controls, etc. Split the policy capability definitions out into their own headers so that we can include them into mdp without pulling in other kernel headers and extend mdp generate policycap statements for the policy capabilities known to the kernel. kbuild: introduce hostprogs-always-y and userprogs-always-y

To build host programs, you need to add the program names to 'hostprogs' to use the necessary build rule, but it is not enough to build them because there is no dependency. There are two types of host programs: built as the prerequisite of another (e.g. gen_crc32table in lib/Makefile), or always built when Kbuild visits the Makefile (e.g. genksyms in scripts/genksyms/Makefile). The latter is typical in Makefiles under scripts/, which contains host programs globally used during the kernel build. To build them, you need to add them to both 'hostprogs' and 'always-y'. This commit adds hostprogs-always-y as a shorthand. The same applies to user programs. net/bpfilter/Makefile builds bpfilter_umh on demand, hence always-y is unneeded. In contrast, programs under samples/ are added to both 'userprogs' and 'always-y' so they are always built when Kbuild visits the Makefiles. userprogs-always-y works as a shorthand. scripts/selinux/mdp: fix initial SID handling

commit e3e0b582c321 ("selinux: remove unused initial SIDs and improve handling") broke scripts/selinux/mdp since the unused initial SID names were removed and the corresponding generation of policy initial SID definitions by mdp was not updated accordingly. Fix it. With latest upstream checkpolicy it is no longer necessary to include the SID context definitions for the unused initial SIDs but retain them for compatibility with older checkpolicy.
