<title>net: ipv6: fix dif and sdif mismatch in raw6_icmp_error</title>

[ Upstream commit 440e274da4d1b93c7df2cb0ce893c3009dd4db55 ]

In raw6_icmp_error(), raw_v6_match() is called with inet6_iif(skb) passed
to both the 'dif' and 'sdif' arguments. This is a copy-paste or typo error,
as the last argument should represent the secondary interface index (sdif).

This mismatch breaks ICMPv6 error handling for IPv6 raw sockets in VRF
(Virtual Routing and Forwarding) environments. When a raw socket is bound
to a VRF master device, raw_v6_match() fails to find a match because it is
not given the correct sdif value, causing the socket to miss relevant
ICMPv6 error notifications.

Fix this by properly passing inet6_sdif(skb) as the last argument to
raw_v6_match().

[ Upstream commit 9fba1eb39e2f74d2002c5cbcf1d4435d37a4f752 ]

Add READ_ONCE() annotations because np-&gt;rxpmtu can be changed
while udpv6_recvmsg() and rawv6_recvmsg() read it.

Since this is a very rarely used feature, and that udpv6_recvmsg()
and rawv6_recvmsg() read np-&gt;rxopt anyway, change the test order
so that np-&gt;rxpmtu does not need to be in a hot cache line.

commit 096208592b09c2f5fc0c1a174694efa41c04209d upstream.

This initializes tclass and dontfrag before cmsg parsing, removing the
need for explicit checks against -1 in each caller.

Leave hlimit set to -1, because its full initialization
(in ip6_sk_dst_hoplimit) requires more state (dst, flowi6, ..).

This also prepares for calling sockcm_init in a follow-on patch.

tstamp_type is now set based on actual clockid_t compressed
into 2 bits.

To make the design scalable for future needs this commit bring in
the change to extend the tstamp_type:1 to tstamp_type:2 to support
other clockid_t timestamp.

We now support CLOCK_TAI as part of tstamp_type as part of this
commit with existing support CLOCK_MONOTONIC and CLOCK_REALTIME.

Instead of (struct rt6_info *)dst casts, we can use :

 #define dst_rt6_info(_ptr) \

Some places needed missing const qualifiers :

ip6_confirm_neigh(), ipv6_anycast_destination(),
ipv6_unicast_destination(), has_gateway()

This reverts commit 885c36e59f46375c138de18ff1692f18eff67b7f.

The patch currently broke the bpf selftest test_tc_dtime because
uapi field __sk_buff-&gt;tstamp_type depends on skb-&gt;mono_delivery_time which
does not necessarily mean mono with the original fix as the bit was re-used
for userspace timestamp as well to avoid tstamp reset in the forwarding
path. To solve this we need to keep mono_delivery_time as is and
introduce another bit called user_delivery_time and fall back to the
initial proposal of setting the user_delivery_time bit based on
sk_clockid set from userspace.

Bridge driver today has no support to forward the userspace timestamp
packets and ends up resetting the timestamp. ETF qdisc checks the
packet coming from userspace and encounters to be 0 thereby dropping
time sensitive packets. These changes will allow userspace timestamps
packets to be forwarded from the bridge to NIC drivers.

Setting the same bit (mono_delivery_time) to avoid dropping of
userspace tstamp packets in the forwarding path.

Existing functionality of mono_delivery_time remains unaltered here,
instead just extended with userspace tstamp support for bridge
forwarding path.
