When GRO attempts to aggregate packets beyond GRO_LEGACY_MAX_SIZE (64KB),
BIG TCP should only be permitted for plain IPv4 TCP and plain IPv6 TCP
(with sufficient MAC header room to insert the temporary HBH jumbo header).

However, commit b1a78b9b9886 ("net: add support for ipv4 big tcp")
loosened the check in skb_gro_receive(), leading to several issues:

1. skb_gro_receive() checked skb_headroom(p) instead of the actual space
   before the MAC header (p->mac_header). Because skb_headroom(p) includes
   mac_len, crafted frames (e.g. injected via AF_PACKET) can pass the check
   with p->mac_header < 8 bytes. When ipv6_gro_complete() inserts the
   temporary HBH jumbo header, the memmove() starts before skb->head,
   causing an out-of-bounds write and wrapping skb->mac_header.
2. It allowed non-IP protocols such as software VLAN (ETH_P_8021Q /
   ETH_P_8021AD) to aggregate beyond 64KB because
   p->protocol != ETH_P_IPV6 was true.
3. It checked p->encapsulation instead of NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->encap_mark,
   allowing encapsulated flows (e.g. SIT / IPv6-in-IPv4) to aggregate
   beyond 64KB.

Fix skb_gro_receive() to strictly enforce:
- NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->proto == IPPROTO_TCP
- Not encapsulated (!NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->encap_mark && !p->encapsulation)
- Protocol must be either ETH_P_IP or ETH_P_IPV6
- If ETH_P_IPV6, p->mac_header must be at least
  sizeof(struct hop_jumbo_hdr)

Returning -E2BIG from skb_gro_receive() ensures that packets which cannot
become BIG TCP are cleanly flushed at <= 64KB and delivered intact without
dropping.

This issue does not exist in mainline (7.0+) because the subsystem was
rewritten in commit 81be30c1f5f2 ("net/ipv6: Drop HBH for BIG TCP on RX
side"), making this fix relevant only for older stable branches like
6.18.y.

[ Upstream commit e751256486d0ded20f5a9f9863467f1dce65142f ]

Commit 0ab03f353d36 ("net-gro: Fix GRO flush when receiving a GSO
packet.") added a flush check to skb_gro_receive(), but
skb_gro_receive_list() lacks the same validation.

As a result, packets marked with NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->flush may still be
re-aggregated.

This allows already-GRO'd packets with existing frag_list to be
re-aggregated into a new GRO session, corrupting the frag_list chain
structure. When skb_segment() attempts to unpack these malformed packets,
it encounters invalid state and triggers a kernel panic.

Scenario (Tethering/Device forwarding):
  1. Driver: Generated aggregated packet P1 via LRO with frag_list
  2. Dev A: Receives aggregated fraglist packet and flush flag set
  3. Dev A: Re-enters GRO, skb_gro_receive_list() is called
  4. Missing flush check allows re-aggregation despite flush flag
  5. Frag_list chain becomes corrupted (loops or dangling refs)
  6. Dev B: TX path calls skb_segment(), crashes on corrupted frag_list

Root cause in skb_segment():
  The check at line ~4891:
    if (hsize <= 0 && i >= nfrags && skb_headlen(list_skb) &&
        (skb_headlen(list_skb) == len || sg)) {

  When frag_list is corrupted by double aggregation, when list_skb is
  a NULL pointer from skb->next, skb_headlen(list_skb) dereference
  NULL/corrupted pointers occurs.

Call Trace:

skb_gro_receive() can currently copy frags between the source and GRO
skb, without checking the zerocopy status, and in particular the
SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS flag.

When SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS is set, the skb doesn't hold a reference
on the pages in shinfo->frags. Appending those frags to another skb's
frags without fixing up the page refcount can lead to UAF.

When either the last skb in the GRO chain (the one we would append
frags to) or the source skb is zerocopy, don't merge the skbs.

net: skbuff: propagate shared-frag marker through frag-transfer helpers

commit 48f6a5356a33dd78e7144ae1faef95ffc990aae0 upstream.

Two frag-transfer helpers (__pskb_copy_fclone() and skb_shift()) fail
to propagate the SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG bit in skb_shinfo()->flags when
moving frags from source to destination. __pskb_copy_fclone() defers
the rest of the shinfo metadata to skb_copy_header() after copying
frag descriptors, but that helper only carries over gso_{size,segs,
type} and never touches skb_shinfo()->flags; skb_shift() moves frag
descriptors directly and leaves flags untouched. As a result, the
destination skb keeps a reference to the same externally-owned or
page-cache-backed pages while reporting skb_has_shared_frag() as
false.

The mismatch is harmful in any in-place writer that uses
skb_has_shared_frag() to decide whether shared pages must be detoured
through skb_cow_data(). ESP input is one such writer (esp4.c,
esp6.c), and a single nft 'dup to <local>' rule -- or any other
nf_dup_ipv4() / xt_TEE caller -- is enough to land a pskb_copy()'d
skb in esp_input() with the marker stripped, letting an unprivileged
user write into the page cache of a root-owned read-only file via
authencesn-ESN stray writes.

Set SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG on the destination whenever frag descriptors
were actually moved from the source. skb_copy() and skb_copy_expand()
share skb_copy_header() too but linearize all paged data into freshly
allocated head storage and emerge with nr_frags == 0, so
skb_has_shared_frag() returns false on its own; they need no change.

The same omission exists in skb_gro_receive() and skb_gro_receive_list().
The former moves the incoming skb's frag descriptors into the
accumulator's last sub-skb via two paths (a direct frag-move loop and
the head_frag + memcpy path); the latter chains the incoming skb whole
onto p's frag_list.  Downstream skb_segment() reads only
skb_shinfo(p)->flags, and skb_segment_list() reuses each sub-skb's
shinfo as the nskb -- both p and lp must carry the marker.

The same omission also exists in tcp_clone_payload(), which builds an
MTU probe skb by moving frag descriptors from skbs on sk_write_queue
into a freshly allocated nskb. The helper falls into the same family
and warrants the same fix for consistency; no TCP TX-side in-place
writer is currently known to reach a user page through this gap, but
a future consumer depending on the marker would regress silently.

The same omission exists in skb_segment(): the per-iteration flag
merge takes only head_skb's flag, and the inner switch that rebinds
frag_skb to list_skb on head_skb-frags exhaustion does not fold the
new frag_skb's flag into nskb. Fold frag_skb's flag at both sites
so segments drawing frags from frag_list members carry the marker.

[ Upstream commit 5c2c3c38be396257a6a2e55bd601a12bb9781507 ]

The udp GRO complete stage assumes that all the packets inserted the RX
have the `encapsulation` flag zeroed. Such assumption is not true, as a
few H/W NICs can set such flag when H/W offloading the checksum for
an UDP encapsulated traffic, the tun driver can inject GSO packets with
UDP encapsulation and the problematic layout can also be created via
a veth based setup.

Due to the above, in the problematic scenarios, udp4_gro_complete() uses
the wrong network offset (inner instead of outer) to compute the outer
UDP header pseudo checksum, leading to csum validation errors later on
in packet processing.

Address the issue always clearing the encapsulation flag at GRO completion
time. Such flag will be set again as needed for encapsulated packets by
udp_gro_complete().

on kernel built with MAX_SKB_FRAGS=45, where SKB_WITH_OVERHEAD(1024)
is smaller than GRO_MAX_HEAD.

Such built additionally contains the revert of the single page frag cache
so that napi_get_frags() ends up using the page frag allocator, triggering
the splat.

Note that the underlying issue is independent from the mentioned
revert; address it ensuring that the small head cache will fit either TCP
and GRO allocation and updating napi_alloc_skb() and __netdev_alloc_skb()
to select kmalloc() usage for any allocation fitting such cache.

net: Clear old fragment checksum value in napi_reuse_skb

[ Upstream commit 49806fe6e61b045b5be8610e08b5a3083c109aa0 ]

In certain cases, napi_get_frags() returns an skb that points to an old
received fragment, This skb may have its skb->ip_summed, csum, and other
fields set from previous fragment handling.

Some network drivers set skb->ip_summed to either CHECKSUM_COMPLETE or
CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY when getting skb from napi_get_frags(), while
others only set skb->ip_summed when RX checksum offload is enabled on
the device, and do not set any value for skb->ip_summed when hardware
checksum offload is disabled, assuming that the skb->ip_summed
initiated to zero by napi_reuse_skb, ionic driver for example will
ignore/unset any value for the ip_summed filed if HW checksum offload is
disabled, and if we have a situation where the user disables the
checksum offload during a traffic that could lead to the following
errors shown in the kernel logs:
<IRQ>
dump_stack_lvl+0x34/0x48
__skb_gro_checksum_complete+0x7e/0x90

</IRQ>

This inconsistency sometimes leads to checksum validation issues in the
upper layers of the network stack.

To resolve this, this patch clears the skb->ip_summed value for each
reused skb in by napi_reuse_skb(), ensuring that the caller is responsible
for setting the correct checksum status. This eliminates potential
checksum validation issues caused by improper handling of
skb->ip_summed.

[ Upstream commit e8d4d34df715133c319fabcf63fdec684be75ff8 ]

Add a small netif_get_gro_max_size() helper which returns the maximum IPv4
or IPv6 GRO size of the netdevice.

We later add a netif_get_gso_max_size() equivalent as well for GSO, so that
these helpers can be used consistently instead of open-coded checks.
