[ Upstream commit 386520e0ecc01004d3a29c70c5a77d4bbf8a8420 ]

Similarly to RTNL_FLAG_DOIT_UNLOCKED, this new flag
allows dump operations registered via rtnl_register()
or rtnl_register_module() to opt-out from RTNL protection.

rtnetlink: Add bulk registration helpers for rtnetlink message handlers.

[ Upstream commit 07cc7b0b942bf55ef1a471470ecda8d2a6a6541f ]

Before commit addf9b90de22 ("net: rtnetlink: use rcu to free rtnl message
handlers"), once rtnl_msg_handlers[protocol] was allocated, the following
rtnl_register_module() for the same protocol never failed.

However, after the commit, rtnl_msg_handler[protocol][msgtype] needs to
be allocated in each rtnl_register_module(), so each call could fail.

Many callers of rtnl_register_module() do not handle the returned error,
and we need to add many error handlings.

To handle that easily, let's add wrapper functions for bulk registration
of rtnetlink message handlers.

net: validate veth and vxcan peer ifindexes

veth and vxcan need to make sure the ifindexes of the peer
are not negative, core does not validate this.

Using iproute2 with user-space-level checking removed:

Before:

  # ./ip link add index 10 type veth peer index -1
  # ip link show
  1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
  2: enp1s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 52:54:00:74:b2:03 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
  10: veth1@veth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,M-DOWN> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 8a:90:ff:57:6d:5d brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
  -1: veth0@veth1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,M-DOWN> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether ae:ed:18:e6:fa:7f brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

Now:

  $ ./ip link add index 10 type veth peer index -1
  Error: ifindex can't be negative.

This problem surfaced in net-next because an explicit WARN()
was added, the root cause is older.

Fixes: a8f820a380a2 ("can: add Virtual CAN Tunnel driver (vxcan)")

This patch use the new helper unregister_netdevice_many_notify() for
rtnl_delete_link(), so that the kernel could reply unicast when userspace
set NLM_F_ECHO flag to request the new created interface info.

At the same time, the parameters of rtnl_delete_link() need to be updated
since we need nlmsghdr and portid info.

This patch pass netlink message header and portid to rtnl_configure_link()
All the functions in this call chain need to add the parameters so we can
use them in the last call rtnl_notify(), and notify the userspace about
the new link info if NLM_F_ECHO flag is set.

- rtnl_configure_link()
  - __dev_notify_flags()
    - rtmsg_ifinfo()
      - rtmsg_ifinfo_event()
        - rtmsg_ifinfo_build_skb()
        - rtmsg_ifinfo_send()
	  - rtnl_notify()

Also move __dev_notify_flags() declaration to net/core/dev.h, as Jakub
suggested.

Add a new rtnl flag (RTNL_FLAG_BULK_DEL_SUPPORTED) which is used to
verify that the delete operation allows bulk object deletion. Also emit
a warning if anyone tries to set it for non-delete kind.
