<title>ASoC: ti: davinci-mcasp: Add asynchronous mode support</title>

McASP has dedicated clock &amp; frame sync registers for both transmit
and receive. Currently McASP driver only supports synchronous behavior and
couples both TX &amp; RX settings.

Add logic that enables asynchronous mode via ti,async-mode property. In
async mode, playback &amp; record can be done simultaneously with different
audio configurations (tdm slots, tdm width, audio bit depth).

Note the ability to have different tx/rx DSP formats (i2s, dsp_a, etc.),
while possible in hardware, remains to be a gap as it require changes
to the corresponding machine driver interface.

Existing IIS (sync mode) and DIT mode logic remains mostly unchanged.
Exceptions are IIS mode logic that previously assumed sync mode, which has
now been made aware of the distinction. And shared logic across all modes
also now checks for McASP tx/rx-specific driver attributes. Those
attributes have been populated according to the original extent, ensuring
no divergence in functionality.

Constraints no longer applicable for async mode are skipped.
Clock selection options have also been added to include rx/tx-only clk_ids,
exposing independent configuration via the machine driver as well.

Note that asynchronous mode is not applicable for McASP in DIT mode,
which is a transmitter-only mode to interface w/ self-clocking formats.

<title>ASoC: ti: davinci-i2s: Remove the unused clk_input_pin attribute</title>

The clk_input_pin attribute of davinci_mcbsp_dev struct is not set since
commit 257ade78b601 ("ASoC: davinci-i2s: Convert to use edma-pcm").

Remove the attribute.
Keep the behaviour of the MCBSP_CLKR case as MCBSP_CLKR == 0.
I can't test the BC_FP format so I added back the initial comment that
was removed by commit ec6375533748 ("ASoC: DaVinci: Added selection of
clk input pin for McBSP"). This was the last dependency to
linux/platform_data/davinci_asp.h so it is not included anymore.

Remove the enum mcbsp_clk_input_pin from davinci_asp.h as it is not used
anywhere else.

There is a single McASP on OMAP4 (and OMAP5) which is configured to only
support DIT playback mode on a single serializer.

Add 0x200 offset to DAT port address as the TRM suggests it.

If the dismod is specified in the DT node, use the specified custom value
to configure the drive on state of the inactive TX slots.

If the dismod is not present or booted in legacy mode, the dismod is set
to low as it was the original behavior.

Rename the struct for the platform data:
snd_platform_data -&gt; davinci_mcasp_pdata

Since we have users under arch/arm/mach-davinci/ for this struct add
temporary define to avoid breakage. The arch code can be updated later to
use the new struct name.

The IP in DRA7xx is similar to the IP found in TI81xxAM3xxx/AM4xxx type of
SoCs but it is is integrated with sDMA instead of eDMA. The suitable pcm
driver for DRA7xx is the omap-pcm driver which is using dmaengine.
In the driver we can configure both dma related structures used for eDMA and
sDMA. The only thing we need to make sure that we set the correct dma_data
at startup with snd_soc_dai_set_dma_data()
