It enables drivers to create an auxiliary_device and bind an auxiliary_driver to it. The bus supports probe/remove shutdown and suspend/resume callbacks. Each auxiliary_device has a unique string based id; driver binds to an auxiliary_device based on this id through the bus. To enable support for class drivers, and well as drivers that address a specific version, all fields of the sdw_device_id structure need to be exposed. For SoundWire 1.0 and 1.1 devices, a wildcard is used so class and version information are ignored. Sometimes the stepping must be checked to tell them apart. On x86 there can be at most 16 steppings.
