<title>crypto: drbg - Fix drbg_max_addtl() on 64-bit kernels</title>

commit 6f49f00c981bbb9ef602966f19bfdbef46b681d2 upstream.

On 64-bit kernels, drbg_max_addtl() returns 2**35 bytes.  That's too
large, for two reasons:

1. SP800-90A says the maximum limit is 2**35 *bits*, not 2**35 bytes.
So the implemented limit has confused bits and bytes.

2. When drbg_kcapi_hash() calls crypto_shash_update() on the additional
information string, the length is implicitly cast to 'unsigned int'.
That truncates the additional information string to U32_MAX bytes.

Fix the maximum additional information string length to always be
U32_MAX - 1, causing an error to be returned for any longer lengths.

commit a664bf3d603dc3bdcf9ae47cc21e0daec706d7a5 upstream.

This mostly reverts commit 72548b093ee3 except for the copying of
the associated data.

There is no benefit in operating in-place in algif_aead since the
source and destination come from different mappings. Get rid of
all the complexity added for in-place operation and just copy the
AD directly.

This backports the current implementation of memcpy_sglist() from
upstream commit 4dffc9bbffb9ccfcda730d899c97c553599e7ca8.

This function was rewritten twice. The earlier implementations had many
prerequisite commits, while the latest implementation is standalone.
It's much easier to just backport the latest code directly.

[ Upstream commit d0ca0df179c4b21e2a6c4a4fb637aa8fa14575cb ]

Commit 1b34cbbf4f01 ("crypto: af_alg - Disallow concurrent writes in
af_alg_sendmsg") changed some fields from bool to 1-bit bitfields of
type u32.

However, some assignments to these fields, specifically 'more' and
'merge', assign values greater than 1. These relied on C's implicit
conversion to bool, such that zero becomes false and nonzero becomes
true.

With a 1-bit bitfields of type u32 instead, mod 2 of the value is taken
instead, resulting in 0 being assigned in some cases when 1 was intended.

Fix this by restoring the bool type.

Issuing two writes to the same af_alg socket is bogus as the
data will be interleaved in an unpredictable fashion. Furthermore,
concurrent writes may create inconsistencies in the internal
socket state.

Disallow this by adding a new ctx-&gt;write field that indiciates
exclusive ownership for writing.

<title>crypto: api - Add scaffolding to change completion function signature</title>

[ Upstream commit c35e03eaece71101ff6cbf776b86403860ac8cc3 ]

The crypto completion function currently takes a pointer to a
struct crypto_async_request object. However, in reality the API
does not allow the use of any part of the object apart from the
data field. For example, ahash/shash will create a fake object
on the stack to pass along a different data field.

This leads to potential bugs where the user may try to dereference
or otherwise use the crypto_async_request object.

This patch adds some temporary scaffolding so that the completion
function can take a void * instead. Once affected users have been
converted this can be removed.

The helper crypto_request_complete will remain even after the
conversion is complete. It should be used instead of calling
the completion function directly.

BLAKE2s has no currently known use as an shash. Just remove all of this
unnecessary plumbing. Removing this shash was something we talked about
back when we were making BLAKE2s a built-in, but I simply never got
around to doing it. So this completes that project.

Importantly, this fixs a bug in which the lib code depends on
crypto_simd_disabled_for_test, causing linker errors.

Also add more alignment tests to the selftests and compare SIMD and
non-SIMD compression functions, to make up for what we lose from
testmgr.c.
