Commit 1b34cbbf4f01 ("crypto: af_alg - Disallow concurrent writes in
af_alg_sendmsg") changed some fields from bool to 1-bit bitfields of
type u32.

However, some assignments to these fields, specifically 'more' and
'merge', assign values greater than 1.  These relied on C's implicit
conversion to bool, such that zero becomes false and nonzero becomes
true.

With a 1-bit bitfields of type u32 instead, mod 2 of the value is taken
instead, resulting in 0 being assigned in some cases when 1 was intended.

Fix this by restoring the bool type.

Issuing two writes to the same af_alg socket is bogus as the
data will be interleaved in an unpredictable fashion.  Furthermore,
concurrent writes may create inconsistencies in the internal
socket state.

Disallow this by adding a new ctx-&gt;write field that indiciates
exclusive ownership for writing.

Having multiple in-flight AIO requests results in unpredictable
output because they all share the same IV.  Fix this by only allowing
one request at a time.

Extend the user-space RNG interface:
  1. Add entropy input via ALG_SET_DRBG_ENTROPY setsockopt option;
  2. Add additional data input via sendmsg syscall.

This allows DRBG to be tested with test vectors, for example for the
purpose of CAVP testing, which otherwise isn't possible.

To prevent erroneous use of entropy input, it is hidden under
CRYPTO_USER_API_RNG_CAVP config option and requires CAP_SYS_ADMIN to
succeed.

AEAD does not support partial requests so we must not wake up
while ctx-&gt;more is set.  In order to distinguish between the
case of no data sent yet and a zero-length request, a new init
flag has been added to ctx.

SKCIPHER has also been modified to ensure that at least a block
of data is available if there is more data to come.

The locking in af_alg_release_parent is broken as the BH socket
lock can only be taken if there is a code-path to handle the case
where the lock is owned by process-context.  Instead of adding
such handling, we can fix this by changing the ref counts to
atomic_t.

This patch also modifies the main refcnt to include both normal
and nokey sockets.  This way we don't have to fudge the nokey
ref count when a socket changes from nokey to normal.

The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:

struct foo {
        int stuff;
        struct boo array[];
};

By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.

Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:

"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]

This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

The poll() changes were not well thought out, and completely
unexplained.  They also caused a huge performance regression, because
"-&gt;poll()" was no longer a trivial file operation that just called down
to the underlying file operations, but instead did at least two indirect
calls.

Indirect calls are sadly slow now with the Spectre mitigation, but the
performance problem could at least be largely mitigated by changing the
"-&gt;get_poll_head()" operation to just have a per-file-descriptor pointer
to the poll head instead.  That gets rid of one of the new indirections.

But that doesn't fix the new complexity that is completely unwarranted
for the regular case.  The (undocumented) reason for the poll() changes
was some alleged AIO poll race fixing, but we don't make the common case
slower and more complex for some uncommon special case, so this all
really needs way more explanations and most likely a fundamental
redesign.
