kernfs: Fix range checks in kernfs_get_target_path

[ Upstream commit a75e78f21f9ad4b810868c89dbbabcc3931591ca ] The terminating NUL byte is only there because the buffer is allocated with kzalloc(PAGE_SIZE, GFP_KERNEL), but since the range-check is off-by-one, and PAGE_SIZE==PATH_MAX, the returned string may not be zero-terminated if it is exactly PATH_MAX characters long. commit 166126c1e54d927c2e8efa2702d420e0ce301fd9 upstream. gcc 8.1.0 complains: fs/kernfs/symlink.c:91:3: warning: 'strncpy' output truncated before terminating nul copying as many bytes from a string as its length fs/kernfs/symlink.c: In function 'kernfs_iop_get_link': fs/kernfs/symlink.c:88:14: note: length computed here Using strncpy() is indeed less than perfect since the length of data to be copied has already been determined with strlen(). commit ba87977a49913129962af8ac35b0e13e0fa4382d upstream. Commit b7ce40cff0b9 ("kernfs: cache atomic_write_len in kernfs_open_file") changes type of local variable 'len' from ssize_t to size_t. This change caused that the *ppos value is updated also when the previous write callback failed. Mentioned snippet: ... len = ops->write(...); <- return value can be negative ... if (len > 0) <- true here in this case *ppos += len; ... kernfs: Add noop_fsync to supported kernfs_file_fops
