The panic was caused by UAF issue w/ below race condition:

kworker
- writepages
- f2fs_write_cache_pages
  - f2fs_write_single_data_page
   - f2fs_do_write_data_page
    - f2fs_inplace_write_data
     - f2fs_merge_page_bio
      - add_inu_page
      : cache page #1 into bio & cache bio in
        io->bio_list
  - f2fs_write_single_data_page
   - f2fs_do_write_data_page
    - f2fs_inplace_write_data
     - f2fs_merge_page_bio
      - add_inu_page
      : cache page #2 into bio which is linked
        in io->bio_list
						write
						- f2fs_write_begin
						: write page #1
						 - f2fs_folio_wait_writeback
						  - f2fs_submit_merged_ipu_write
						   - f2fs_submit_write_bio
						   : submit bio which inclues page #1 and #2

						software IRQ
						- f2fs_write_end_io
						 - fscrypt_free_bounce_page
						 : freed bounced page which belongs to page #2
      - inc_page_count( , WB_DATA_TYPE(data_folio), false)
      : data_folio points to fio->encrypted_page
        the bounced page can be freed before
        accessing it in f2fs_is_cp_guarantee()

It can reproduce w/ below testcase:
Run below script in shell #1:
for ((i=1;i>0;i++)) do xfs_io -f /mnt/f2fs/enc/file \
-c "pwrite 0 32k" -c "fdatasync"

Run below script in shell #2:
for ((i=1;i>0;i++)) do xfs_io -f /mnt/f2fs/enc/file \
-c "pwrite 0 32k" -c "fdatasync"

So, in f2fs_merge_page_bio(), let's avoid using fio->encrypted_page after
commit page into internal ipu cache.

The root cause is a potential deadlock between the following tasks:

kworker/u8:11				Thread A
- f2fs_write_single_data_page
- f2fs_do_write_data_page
  - folio_start_writeback(X)
  - f2fs_outplace_write_data
   - bio_add_folio(X)
- folio_unlock(X)
					- truncate_inode_pages_range
					 - __filemap_get_folio(X, FGP_LOCK)
					 - truncate_inode_partial_folio(X)
					  - folio_wait_writeback(X)
- f2fs_balance_fs
  - f2fs_gc
   - do_garbage_collect
    - move_data_page
     - f2fs_get_lock_data_page
      - __filemap_get_folio(X, FGP_LOCK)

Both threads try to access folio X. Thread A holds the lock but waits
for writeback, while kworker waits for the lock. This causes a deadlock.

Other threads also enter D state, waiting for locks such as gc_lock and
writepages.

OPU/IPU DATA folio are all affected by this issue. To avoid such
potential deadlocks, always commit these cached folios before
triggering f2fs_gc() in f2fs_balance_fs().

[ Upstream commit 2d9c4a4ed4eef1f82c5b16b037aee8bad819fd53 ]

The xfstests case "generic/107" and syzbot have both reported a NULL
pointer dereference.

The concurrent scenario that triggers the panic is as follows:

F2FS_WB_CP_DATA write callback          umount
                                        - f2fs_write_checkpoint
                                         - f2fs_wait_on_all_pages(sbi, F2FS_WB_CP_DATA)
- blk_mq_end_request
- bio_endio
  - f2fs_write_end_io
   : dec_page_count(sbi, F2FS_WB_CP_DATA)
   : wake_up(&sbi->cp_wait)
                                        - kill_f2fs_super
                                         - kill_block_super
                                          - f2fs_put_super
                                           : iput(sbi->node_inode)
                                           : sbi->node_inode = NULL
   : f2fs_in_warm_node_list
    - is_node_folio // sbi->node_inode is NULL and panic

The root cause is that f2fs_put_super() calls iput(sbi->node_inode) and
sets sbi->node_inode to NULL after sbi->nr_pages[F2FS_WB_CP_DATA] is
decremented to zero. As a result, f2fs_in_warm_node_list() may
dereference a NULL node_inode when checking whether a folio belongs to
the node inode, leading to a panic.

This patch fixes the issue by calling f2fs_in_warm_node_list() before
decrementing sbi->nr_pages[F2FS_WB_CP_DATA], thus preventing the
use-after-free condition.

The root cause of we run out-of-space is: in f2fs_map_blocks(), f2fs may
trigger foreground gc only if it allocates any physical block, it will be
a little bit later when there is multiple threads writing data w/
aio/dio/bufio method in parallel, since we always use OPU in lfs mode, so
f2fs_map_blocks() does block allocations aggressively.

In order to fix this issue, let's give a chance to trigger foreground
gc in prior to block allocation in f2fs_map_blocks().

[ Upstream commit ce2739e482bce8d2c014d76c4531c877f382aa54 ]

As syzbot reported an use-after-free issue in f2fs_write_end_io().

It is caused by below race condition:

loop device				umount
- worker_thread
- loop_process_work
  - do_req_filebacked
   - lo_rw_aio
    - lo_rw_aio_complete
     - blk_mq_end_request
      - blk_update_request
       - f2fs_write_end_io
        - dec_page_count
        - folio_end_writeback
					- kill_f2fs_super
					 - kill_block_super
					  - f2fs_put_super
					 : free(sbi)
       : get_pages(, F2FS_WB_CP_DATA)
         accessed sbi which is freed

In kill_f2fs_super(), we will drop all page caches of f2fs inodes before
call free(sbi), it guarantee that all folios should end its writeback, so
it should be safe to access sbi before last folio_end_writeback().

Let's relocate ckpt thread wakeup flow before folio_end_writeback() to
resolve this issue.

[ Upstream commit 9d5c4f5c7a2c7677e1b3942772122b032c265aae ]

Assuming the disk layout as below,

disk0: 0            --- 0x00035abfff
disk1: 0x00035ac000 --- 0x00037abfff
disk2: 0x00037ac000 --- 0x00037ebfff

and we want to read data from offset=13568 having len=128 across the block
devices, we can illustrate the block addresses like below.

0 .. 0x00037ac000 ------------------- 0x00037ebfff, 0x00037ec000 -------
          |          ^            ^                                ^
          |   fofs   0            13568                            13568+128
          |       ------------------------------------------------------
          |   LBA    0x37e8aa9    0x37ebfa9                        0x37ec029
          --- map    0x3caa9      0x3ffa9

In this example, we should give the relative map of the target block device
ranging from 0x3caa9 to 0x3ffa9 where the length should be calculated by
0x37ebfff + 1 - 0x37ebfa9.

In the below equation, however, map->m_pblk was supposed to be the original
address instead of the one from the target block address.

- map->m_len = min(map->m_len, dev->end_blk + 1 - map->m_pblk);

[ Upstream commit aa1be8dd64163eca4dde7fd2557eb19927a06a47 ]

Jan Prusakowski reported a f2fs bug as below:

f2fs/007 will hang kernel during testing w/ below configs:

kernel 6.12.18 (from pixel-kernel/android16-6.12)
export MKFS_OPTIONS="-O encrypt -O extra_attr -O project_quota -O quota"
export F2FS_MOUNT_OPTIONS="test_dummy_encryption,discard,fsync_mode=nobarrier,reserve_root=32768,checkpoint_merge,atgc"

cat /sys/kernel/debug/f2fs/status

  - IO_W (CP: -256, Data:  256, Flush: (   0    0    1), Discard: (   0    0)) cmd:    0 undiscard:   0

CP IOs reference count becomes negative.

The root cause is:

After 4961acdd65c9 ("f2fs: fix to tag gcing flag on page during block
migration"), we will tag page w/ gcing flag for raw page of cluster
during its migration.

However, if the inode is both encrypted and compressed, during
ioc_decompress(), it will tag page w/ gcing flag, and it increase
F2FS_WB_DATA reference count:
- f2fs_write_multi_page
- f2fs_write_raw_page
  - f2fs_write_single_page
   - do_write_page
    - f2fs_submit_page_write
     - WB_DATA_TYPE(bio_page, fio->compressed_page)
     : bio_page is encrypted, so mapping is NULL, and fio->compressed_page
       is NULL, it returns F2FS_WB_DATA
     - inc_page_count(.., F2FS_WB_DATA)

Then, during end_io(), it decrease F2FS_WB_CP_DATA reference count:
- f2fs_write_end_io
- f2fs_compress_write_end_io
  - fscrypt_pagecache_folio
  : get raw page from encrypted page
  - WB_DATA_TYPE(&folio->page, false)
  : raw page has gcing flag, it returns F2FS_WB_CP_DATA
  - dec_page_count(.., F2FS_WB_CP_DATA)

In order to fix this issue, we need to detect gcing flag in raw page
in f2fs_is_cp_guaranteed().

[ Upstream commit 1018a5463a063715365784704c4e8cdf2eec4b04 ]

Once F2FS_IPU_FORCE policy is enabled in some cases:
a) f2fs forces to use F2FS_IPU_FORCE in a small-sized volume
b) user sets F2FS_IPU_FORCE policy via sysfs

Then we may fail to defragment file due to IPU policy check, it doesn't
make sense, let's introduce a new IPU policy to allow OPU during file
defragmentation.

In small-sized volume, let's enable F2FS_IPU_HONOR_OPU_WRITE policy
by default.
