debugfs: fix mount options not being applied

commit ba6cc29351b1fa0cb9adce91b88b9f3c3cbe9c46 upstream. Mount options (uid, gid, mode) are silently ignored when debugfs is mounted. This is a regression introduced during the conversion to the new mount API. When the mount API conversion was done, the parsed options were never applied to the superblock when it was reused. As a result, the mount options were ignored when debugfs was mounted. Fix this by following the same pattern as the tracefs fix in commit e4d32142d1de ("tracing: Fix tracefs mount options"). Call debugfs_reconfigure() in debugfs_get_tree() to apply the mount options to the superblock after it has been created or reused. [tree-wide] finally take no_llseek out

no_llseek had been defined to NULL two years ago, in commit 868941b14441 ("fs: remove no_llseek") To quote that commit, At -rc1 we'll need do a mechanical removal of no_llseek - git grep -l -w no_llseek | grep -v porting.rst | while read i; do sed -i '/\/d' $i done would do it. Unfortunately, that hadn't been done. Linus, could you do that now, so that we could finally put that thing to rest? All instances are of the form .llseek = no_llseek, so it's obviously safe. debugfs show actual source in /proc/mounts

After its conversion to the new mount API, debugfs displays "none" in /proc/mounts instead of the actual source. Fix this by recognising its "source" mount option. debugfs: continue to ignore unknown mount options

Wolfram reported that debugfs remained empty on some of his boards triggering the message "debugfs: Unknown parameter 'auto'". The root of the issue is that we ignored unknown mount options in the old mount api but we started rejecting unknown mount options in the new mount api. Continue to ignore unknown mount options to not regress userspace. Convert the debugfs filesystem to the new internal mount API as the old one will be obsoleted and removed. debugfs: fix wait/cancellation handling during remove

Ben Greear further reports deadlocks during concurrent debugfs remove while files are being accessed, even though the code in question now uses debugfs cancellations. Turns out that despite all the review on the locking, we missed completely that the logic is wrong: if the refcount hits zero we can finish (and need not wait for the completion), but if it doesn't we have to trigger all the cancellations. As written, we can _never_ get into the loop triggering the cancellations. Fix this, and explain it better while at it. debugfs: initialize cancellations earlier

Tetsuo Handa pointed out that in the (now reverted) lockdep commit I initialized the data too late. The same is true for the cancellation data, it must be initialized before the cmpxchg(), otherwise it may be done twice and possibly even overwriting data in there already when there's a race. Fix that, which also requires destroying the mutex in case we lost the race.
