[ Upstream commit 3e411827f31db7f938a30a3c7a7599839401ec30 ] Function dispc_ovl_setup is not intended to work with the value OMAP_DSS_WB of the enum parameter plane. The value of this parameter is initialized in dss_init_overlays and in the current state of the code it cannot take this value so it's not a real problem. For the purposes of defensive coding it wouldn't be superfluous to check the parameter value, because some functions down the call stack process this value correctly and some not. For example, in dispc_ovl_setup_global_alpha it may lead to buffer overflow. Add check for this value. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE static analysis tool. fbdev: omapfb: Fix an OF node leak in dss_of_port_get_parent_device()

[ Upstream commit de124b61e179e690277116e6be512e4f422b5dd8 ] dss_of_port_get_parent_device() leaks an OF node reference when i >= 2 and struct device_node *np is present. Since of_get_next_parent() obtains a reference of the returned OF node, call of_node_put() before returning NULL. This was found by an experimental verifier that I am developing, and no runtime test was able to be performed due to that lack of actual devices. The flag FBINFO_FLAG_DEFAULT is 0 and has no effect, as struct fbinfo.flags has been allocated to zero by framebuffer_alloc(). So do not set it. Flags should signal differences from the default values. The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. fbdev: Make support for userspace interfaces configurable

Add Kconfig option CONFIG_FB_DEVICE and make the virtual fbdev device optional. If the new option has not been selected, fbdev does not create files in devfs, sysfs or procfs. Most modern Linux systems run a DRM-based graphics stack that uses the kernel's framebuffer console, but has otherwise deprecated fbdev support. Yet fbdev userspace interfaces are still present. The option makes it possible to use the fbdev subsystem as console implementation without support for userspace. This closes potential entry points to manipulate kernel or I/O memory via framebuffers. It also prevents the execution of driver code via ioctl or sysfs, both of which might allow malicious software to exploit bugs in the fbdev code. A small number of fbdev drivers require struct fbinfo.dev to be initialized, usually for the support of sysfs interface. Make these drivers depend on FB_DEVICE. fbdev: omapfb: Convert to platform remove callback returning void

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. It is preferred to use typed property access functions (i.e. of_property_read_ functions) rather than low-level of_get_property/of_find_property functions for reading properties. As part of this, convert of_get_property/of_find_property calls to the recently added of_property_present() helper when we just want to test for presence of a property and nothing more.
