This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union object instances: Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...) Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...) Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...) (where TYPE may also be *VAR) The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning "TYPE *". Signed-off-by: Kees Cook

fbdev: Drop explicit initialization of struct i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0

These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id, so don't explicitly initialize this member. This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice cleanup on its own. fbdev: remove I2C_CLASS_DDC support

After removal of the legacy EEPROM driver and I2C_CLASS_DDC support in olpc_dcon there's no i2c client driver left supporting I2C_CLASS_DDC. Class-based device auto-detection is a legacy mechanism and shouldn't be used in new code. So we can remove this class completely now. fbdev/matroxfb: Initialize fb_ops to fbdev I/O-memory helpers

Initialize each instance of struct fb_ops with fbdev initializer macros for framebuffers in I/O address space. Set the read/write, draw and mmap callbacks to the correct implementation and avoid implicit defaults. Also select the necessary I/O helpers in Kconfig. Fbdev drivers sometimes rely on the callbacks being NULL for a default implementation to be invoked; hence requiring the I/O helpers to be built in any case. Setting all callbacks in all drivers explicitly will allow to make the I/O helpers optional. This benefits systems that do not use these functions. No functional changes. fbdev: Remove FBINFO_FLAG_DEFAULT from kzalloc()'ed structs

The flag FBINFO_FLAG_DEFAULT is 0 and has no effect, as struct fbinfo.flags has been allocated to zero by kzalloc(). So do not set it. Flags should signal differences from the default values.
