Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. SSB: Change fallback sprom to callback mechanism.

Some embedded devices like the Netgear WNDR3300 have two SSB based cards without an own sprom on the pci bus. We have to provide two different fallback sproms for these and this was not possible with the old solution. In the bcm47xx architecture the sprom data is stored in the nvram in the main flash storage. The architecture code will be able to fill the sprom with the stored data based on the bus where the device was found. The bcm63xx code should do the same thing as before, just using the new API.
