The ID table already has respective entry and MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE and creates proper alias for SPI driver. Having another MODULE_ALIAS causes the alias to be duplicated. Currently autoloading for SPI devices does not use the DT ID table, it uses SPI modalises. Supporting OF modalises is going to be difficult if not impractical, an attempt was made but has been reverted, so ensure that module autoloading works for this driver by adding an id_table listing the SPI IDs for everything. In preparation to enabling -Wvla, remove VLA and replace it with a fixed-length array instead. >From a security viewpoint, the use of Variable Length Arrays can be a vector for stack overflow attacks. Also, in general, as the code evolves it is easy to lose track of how big a VLA can get. Thus, we can end up having segfaults that are hard to debug.
