The QMI message encoder has up until recently read a single byte (as
elem_size == 1), but with the introduction of big endian support it's
become apparent that this field is expected to be a full u32 -
regardless of the size of the length in the encoded message (which is
what elem_size specifies).

The result is that the encoder now reads past the length byte and
rejects the unreasonably large length formed when including the
following 3 bytes from the subsys_name array.

Fix this by changing to the expected type.

A remoteproc could theoretically signal handover twice. This is unexpected
and would break the reference counting for the handover resources (power
domains, clocks, regulators, etc), so add a check to prevent that from
happening.

enable_irq() and disable_irq() are reference counted, so we must make sure
that each enable_irq() is always paired with a single disable_irq(). If we
call disable_irq() twice followed by just a single enable_irq(), the IRQ
will remain disabled forever.

For the error handling path in qcom_q6v5_wait_for_start(), disable_irq()
will end up being called twice, because disable_irq() also happens in
qcom_q6v5_unprepare() when rolling back the call to qcom_q6v5_prepare().

Fix this by dropping disable_irq() in qcom_q6v5_wait_for_start(). Since
qcom_q6v5_prepare() is the function that calls enable_irq(), it makes more
sense to have the rollback handled always by qcom_q6v5_unprepare().

Only go into the if condition for single-PD handling when there's
actually just one power domain specified there. Otherwise it'll be an
issue in the dts and we should fail in the regular code path.

This also mirrors the latest changes in the qcom_q6v5_mss driver.

Any write access to the IMEM region when the Q6 is setting up XPU
protection on it will result in a XPU violation. Fix this by ensuring
IMEM writes related to the MBA post-mortem logs happen before the Q6
is brought out of reset.

In imx_rproc_addr_init() "nph = of_count_phandle_with_args()" just counts
number of phandles. But phandles may be empty. So of_parse_phandle() in
the parsing loop (0 &lt; a &lt; nph) may return NULL which is later dereferenced.
Adjust this issue by adding NULL-return check.

Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

In case of errors during core start operation from sysfs, the driver
directly returns with the -EPERM error code. Fix this to ensure that
mailbox channels are freed on error before returning by jumping to the
'put_mbox' error handling label. Similarly, jump to the 'out' error
handling label to return with required -EPERM error code during the
core stop operation from sysfs.

PSC controller has a limitation that it can only power-up the second
core when the first core is in ON state. Power-state for core0 should be
equal to or higher than core1.

Therefore, prevent core1 from powering up before core0 during the start
process from sysfs. Similarly, prevent core0 from shutting down before
core1 has been shut down from sysfs.
