This reverts commit 1a50d9403fb90cbe4dea0ec9fd0351d2ecbd8924. While the commit fixed fw_devlink overlay handling for one case, it broke it for another case. So revert it and redo the fix in a separate patch. drivers/of: validate status properties in reconfig state changes

Live-tree reconfiguration properties also carry raw values plus explicit lengths. `of_reconfig_get_state_change()` currently treats `status` property values as NUL-terminated strings and feeds them straight into `strcmp()`. Factor the `"okay"` / `"ok"` check out into a helper that first verifies that the property contains a bounded C string within `prop->length`. Malformed `status` updates should be treated as not enabling the node. device property: Make modifications of fwnode "flags" thread safe

In various places in the kernel, we modify the fwnode "flags" member by doing either: fwnode->flags |= SOME_FLAG; fwnode->flags &= ~SOME_FLAG; This type of modification is not thread-safe. If two threads are both mucking with the flags at the same time then one can clobber the other. While flags are often modified while under the "fwnode_link_lock", this is not universally true. Create some accessor functions for setting, clearing, and testing the FWNODE flags and move all users to these accessor functions. New accessor functions use set_bit() and clear_bit(), which are thread-safe. This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union object instances: Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...) Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...) Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...) When of_pci_add_properties() failed, of_changeset_destroy() is called to free the changeset. And of_changeset_destroy() puts device tree node in each entry but does not free property in the entry. This leads to memory leak in the failure case. In of_changeset_add_prop_helper(), add the property to the device tree node deadprops list. Thus, the property will also be freed along with device tree node. Add a helper function to add string property updates to an OF changeset. This is similar to of_changeset_add_prop_string(), but instead of adding the property (and failing if it exists), it will update the property. This shall be used later in the DT hardware prober.
