Driver for 802.11b cards using RAM-loadable Symbol firmware, such as Symbol Wireless Networker LA4100, CompactFlash cards by Socket Communications and Intel PRO/Wireless 2011B. The driver implements Symbol firmware download. The rest is handled in hermes.c and orinoco.c. This is a driver for Nortel emobility PCI adaptors, which consist of an Orinoco compatible PCMCIA card and a simple PCI-to-PCMCIA bridge. The driver initializes the device and uses Orinoco core driver for actual wireless networking. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it.
