Fix the following build/link error by adding a dependency on the CRC32 routines: ld: drivers/net/ethernet/arc/emac_main.o: in function `arc_emac_set_rx_mode': emac_main.c:(.text+0xb11): undefined reference to `crc32_le' The crc32_le() call comes through the ether_crc_le() call in arc_emac_set_rx_mode(). [v2: moved the select to ARC_EMAC_CORE; the Makefile is a bit confusing, but the error comes from emac_main.o, which is part of the arc_emac module, which in turn is enabled by CONFIG_ARC_EMAC_CORE. Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada

net: of_get_phy_mode: Change API to solve int/unit warnings

Before this change of_get_phy_mode() returned an enum, phy_interface_t. On error, -ENODEV etc, is returned. If the result of the function is stored in a variable of type phy_interface_t, and the compiler has decided to represent this as an unsigned int, comparision with -ENODEV etc, is a signed vs unsigned comparision. Fix this problem by changing the API. Make the function return an error, or 0 on success, and pass a pointer, of type phy_interface_t, where the phy mode should be stored. v2: Return with *interface set to PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA on error.
