This 'struct kobj_type' is not modified. It is only used in
kobject_init_and_add() which takes a 'const struct kobj_type *ktype'
parameter.

Constifying this structure and moving it to a read-only section,
and can increase over all security.

The CXL driver has its own custom implementations of typed DT property
accessors. Replace the custom property accessor functions with the
common DT property functions.

This clean-up is part of a larger effort to remove of_get_property() and
other DT functions which leak pointers to DT node and property data.

There's little reason to dump DT property values when they can be read
at any time from the DT in /proc/device-tree. If such a feature is
needed, then it really should be implemented in the DT core such that
any module/driver can use it.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.

To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().

Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

HeXin Tech Co. has applied for a new PVN from the OpenPower Community
for its new processor C2000. The OpenPower has assigned a new PVN
and this newly assigned PVN is 0x0066, add pvr register related
support for this PVN.

Now that the driver core allows for struct class to be in read-only
memory, we should make all 'class' structures declared at build time
placing them into read-only memory, instead of having to be dynamically
allocated at runtime.

Clang warns:
  drivers/misc/cxl/native.c:272:20: error: unused function 'detach_spa' [-Werror,-Wunused-function]

It was created as part of some refactoring in commit 05155772f642 ("cxl:
Allocate and release the SPA with the AFU"), but has never been called
in its current form. Drop it.

PCI core add pci_find_vsec_capability() to query VSEC. We can use that
core API to simplify the code.

The only logical change is that pci_find_vsec_capability check the
Vendor ID before finding the VSEC.

PCI spec rev 5.0 says in 7.9.5.2 Vendor-Specific Header:
  VSEC ID - This field is a vendor-defined ID number that indicates the
  nature and format of the VSEC structure
  Software must qualify the Vendor ID before interpreting this field.

<title>misc: Explicitly include correct DT includes</title>

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.
