Before trying to use CDC union descriptor, try to validate whether that it is sane by checking that intf->altsetting->extra is big enough and that descriptor bLength is not too big and not too small. But the event capability for them was not set in the device initialization, so these events were ignored. This change adds the missing event capability. Input: mpr121 - handle multiple bits change of status register

[ Upstream commit 08fea55e37f58371bffc5336a59e55d1f155955a ] This driver reports input events on their interrupts which are triggered by the sensor's status register changes. But only single bit change is reported in the interrupt handler. So if there are multiple bits are changed at almost the same time, other press or release events are ignored. As I don't believe there is any trackpoint with less than 3 buttons this patch just assumes three buttons when the extended button information read fails. Input: trackpoint - add new trackpoint firmware ID

commit ec667683c532c93fb41e100e5d61a518971060e2 upstream. Synaptics add new TP firmware ID: 0x2 and 0x3, for now both lower 2 bits are indicated as TP. Change the constant to bitwise values. This makes trackpoint to be recognized on Lenovo Carbon X1 Gen5 instead of it being identified as "PS/2 Generic Mouse".
