commit 49e6979e7e92cf496105b5636f1df0ac17c159c0 upstream.

trackpoint_detect() should be static inline while
CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_TRACKPOINT is not set, otherwise, we build fails:

drivers/input/mouse/alps.o: In function `trackpoint_detect':
alps.c:(.text+0x8e00): multiple definition of `trackpoint_detect'

commit e8b22d0a329f0fb5c7ef95406872d268f01ee3b1 upstream.

Like Fujitsu CELSIUS H760, the H780 also has a three-button Elantech
touchpad, but the driver needs to be told so to enable the middle touchpad
button.

The elantech_dmi_force_crc_enabled quirk was not necessary with the H780.

Also document the fw_version and caps values detected for both H760 and
H780 models.

commit f9a703a54d16ba2470391c4b12236ee56591d50c upstream.

Just like Fujitsu CELSIUS H730, the H760 also has an Elantech touchpad with
the same quirks. Without this patch, the touchpad is useless out-of-the-box
as the mouse pointer won't move.

This patch makes the driver aware of both the crc_enabled=1 requirement and
the middle button, making the touchpad fully functional out-of-the-box.

commit f386474e12a560e005ec7899e78f51f6bdc3cf41 upstream.

In the past, no elantech was known with 3 touchpad mouse buttons.
Fujitsu H730 is the first known elantech with a middle button. This commit
enables this middle button. For backwards compatibility, the Fujitsu is
detected via DMI, and only for this one 3 buttons will be announced.

commit f5d07b9e98022d50720e38aa936fc11c67868ece upstream.

Lenovo introduced trackpoint compatible sticks with minimum PS/2 commands.
They supposed to reply with 0x02, 0x03, or 0x04 in response to the
"Read Extended ID" command, so we would know not to try certain extended
commands. Unfortunately even some trackpoints reporting the original IBM
version (0x01 firmware 0x0e) now respond with incorrect data to the "Get
Extended Buttons" command:

 thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS R0DET87W (1.87 ), EC unknown
 thinkpad_acpi: Lenovo ThinkPad E470, model 20H1004SGE

psmouse serio2: trackpoint: IBM TrackPoint firmware: 0x0e, buttons: 0/0

Since there are no trackpoints without buttons, let's assume the trackpoint
has 3 buttons when we get 0 response to the extended buttons query.

commit 293b915fd9bebf33cdc906516fb28d54649a25ac upstream.

Trackpoint buttons detection fails on ThinkPad 570 and 470 series,
this makes the middle button of the trackpoint to not being recogized.
As I don't believe there is any trackpoint with less than 3 buttons this
patch just assumes three buttons when the extended button information
read fails.
