This includes drivers/input/misc/sgi_btns.c which, although it did not produce a warning with the x86 allmodconfig configuration, may cause this warning with other configurations when either CONFIG_SGI_IP22 or CONFIG_SGI_IP32 is enabled. We have added polled mode to the normal input devices with the intent of retiring input_polled_dev. This converts sgi_btns driver to use the polling mode of standard input devices and removes dependency on INPUT_POLLDEV. Use the wrapper functions for getting and setting the driver data using platform_device instead of using dev_{get,set}_drvdata() with &pdev->dev, so we can directly pass a struct platform_device. Also, unnecessary dev_set_drvdata() is removed, because the driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure.
