A timer that expires a vgem fence automatically in 10 seconds is now
released with timer_delete_sync() from fence->ops.release() called on last
dma_fence_put(). In some scenarios, it can run in IRQ context, which is
not safe unless TIMER_IRQSAFE is used. One potentially risky scenario was
demonstrated in Intel DRM CI trybot, BAT run on machine bat-adlp-6, while
working on new IGT subtests syncobj_timeline@stress-* as user space
replacements of some problematic test cases of a dma-fence-chain selftest

The vgem driver does not need to create a platform device, as there is
no real platform resources associated it, it only did so because it was
simple to do that in order to get a device to use for resource
management of drm resources. Change the driver to use the faux device
instead as this is NOT a real platform device.

The fence_value_str and timeline_value_str callbacks were just an
unnecessary abstraction in the SW sync implementation.

The only caller of those callbacks already knew that the fence in
questions is a timeline_fence. So print the values directly instead
of using a redirection.

Additional to that remove the implementations from virtgpu and vgem.
As far as I can see those were never used in the first place.

We stopped using the driver initialized date in commit 7fb8af6798e8
("drm: deprecate driver date") and (eventually) started returning "0"
for drm_version ioctl instead.

Finish the job, and remove the unused date member from struct
drm_driver, its initialization from drivers, along with the common
DRIVER_DATE macros.

v2: Also update drivers/accel (kernel test robot)

helpers to vgem and with that, removed all uses of the struct

vgem_fence_open() instantiates a mutex for a particular fence
instance, but never destroys it by calling mutex_destroy() in
vgem_fence_close().

So, add the missing mutex_destroy() to guarantee proper resource
destruction.
