[ Upstream commit 367c359aa8637b15ee8df6335c5a29b7623966ec ] sun4i_drv_add_endpoints() has a memory leak since it uses of_node_put() when remote is equal to NULL and does nothing when remote has a valid pointer. Invert the logic to fix memory leak. drm/sun4i: Enable DW HDMI PHY clock

[ Upstream commit 09773c532d30187f86a142901c27c93e629ce6ba ] Current DW HDMI PHY code never prepares and enables PHY clock after it is created. It's just used as it is. This may work in some cases, but it's clearly wrong. Fix it by adding proper calls to enable/disable PHY clock. drm/sun4i: link in front-end code if needed

When the base sun4i DRM driver is built-in but the back-end is a loadable module, we run into a link error: drivers/gpu/drm/sun4i/sun4i_drv.o: In function `sun4i_drv_probe': sun4i_drv.c:(.text+0x60c): undefined reference to `sun4i_frontend_of_table' The dependency is a bit tricky, the best workaround I have come up with is to use a Makefile hack to to interpret both CONFIG_DRM_SUN4I_BACKEND=m and CONFIG_DRM_SUN4I_BACKEND=y as a directive to build the front-end the same way as the main module. This reverts commit 2c17a4368aad2b88b68e4390c819e226cf320f70. The offending commit triggers a run-time fault when accessing the panel element of the sun4i_tcon structure when no such panel is attached. It was apparently assumed in said commit that a panel is always used with the TCON. Although it is often the case, this is not always true. For instance a bridge might be used instead of a panel. This issue was discovered using an A13-OLinuXino, that uses the TCON in RGB mode for a simple DAC-based VGA bridge. The reverted commit broke LVDS output on TBS A711 Tablet. That tablet has simple-panel node that has fixed pixel clock-frequency that A83T SoC used in the tablet can't generate exactly. Requested rate is 52000000 and rounded_rate is calculated as 51857142. It's close enough for it to work in practice, but with strict check in the reverted commit, the mode is rejected needlessly in this case. DT allows to specify a range of values for simple-panel/clock-frequency, but driver doesn't respect that ATM. Given that TBS A711 is the single user of sun4i-lvds driver, let's revert that commit for now, until a better solution for the problem is found. The DSI controller needs a particular interface (CPU aka 8080) with some modifications from the TCON in order to run. Make sure the TCON is able to provide it when we are using the DSI output. drm/sun4i: Add Allwinner A31 MIPI-DSI controller support

Most of the Allwinner SoCs since the A31 share the same MIPI-DSI controller. While that controller is mostly undocumented, the code is out there and has been cleaned up in order to be integrated into DRM. However, there's still some dark areas that are a bit unclear about how the block exactly operates.
