There is Intel specific workaround DPCD address containing workaround for
case where SDP is on prior line. Apply this workaround according to values
in the offset.

intel_connector-&gt;dp.psr_caps. psr_caps was chosen as currently it contains

EDP specification says:

"If either VSC SDP is unable to be transmitted 100 ns before the SU region,
the Source device may optionally transmit the VSC SDP during the prior
video scan line’s HBlank period There is a Intel specific drm dp register
currently containing bits related how TCON can support PSR2 with SDP on
prior line."

Unfortunately many panels are having problems in implementing this. So
there is a custom Intel specific DPCD register (INTEL_WA_REGISTER_CAPS) to
figure out if this is properly implemented on a panel or if panel doesn't
require that 100 ns delay before the SU region. Here are the definitions in
this custom DPCD address:

0 = Panel doesn't support SDP on prior line
1 = Panel supports SDP on prior line
2 = Panel doesn't have 100ns requirement
3 = Reserved

Add definitions for this new register and it's values into new header
intel_dpcd.h.

For RGB, set dynamic_range to CTA or VESA based on
crtc_state-&gt;limited_color_range so sinks apply correct
quantization. YCbCr remains limited (CTA) range.

We need to loop through all active pipes, not just the ones, that
are in current state, because disabling and enabling even a particular
pipe affects credits in another one.

As of Xe2LPD, it is now possible to select the source of the MDCLK
as either the CD2XCLK or the CDCLK PLL.

Previous display IPs were hardcoded to use the CD2XCLK. For those, the
ratio between MDCLK and CDCLK remained constant, namely 2. For Xe2LPD,
when we select the CDCLK PLL as the source, the ratio will vary
according to the squashing configuration (since the cd2x divisor is
fixed for all supported configurations).

To help the transition to supporting changes in the ratio, extract the
function intel_dbuf_mdclk_cdclk_ratio_update() from the existing logic
and call it using 2 as hardcoded ratio. Upcoming changes will use that
function for updates in the ratio due to CDCLK changes.

There is never any reason to pass in both the crtc and its state
as one can always dig out the crtc from its state. But for more
consistency across the whole state checker let's just pass the
overall atomic state+crtc here as well.

This far using crtc_state-&gt;pipe_src as borders for Selective Update area
haven't caused visible problems as drm_rect_width(crtc_state-&gt;pipe_src) ==
crtc_state-&gt;hw.adjusted_mode.crtc_hdisplay and
drm_rect_height(crtc_state-&gt;pipe_src) ==
crtc_state-&gt;hw.adjusted_mode.crtc_vdisplay when pipe scaling is not
used. On the other hand using pipe scaling is forcing full frame updates and all the
Selective Update area calculations are skipped. Now this improper usage of
crtc_state-&gt;pipe_src is causing following warnings:

&lt;4&gt; [7771.978166] xe 0000:00:02.0: [drm] drm_WARN_ON_ONCE(su_lines % vdsc_cfg-&gt;slice_height)

after WARN_ON_ONCE was added by commit:

"drm/i915/dsc: Add helper for writing DSC Selective Update ET parameters"

These warnings are seen when DSC and pipe scaling are enabled
simultaneously. This is because on full frame update SU area is improperly
set as pipe_src which is not aligned with DSC slice height.

Fix these by creating local rectangle using
crtc_state-&gt;hw.adjusted_mode.crtc_hdisplay and
crtc_state-&gt;hw.adjusted_mode.crtc_vdisplay. Use this local rectangle as
borders for SU area.
