This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union object instances: Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...) Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...) Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...) Introduce a new crtc property "SHARPNESS_STRENGTH" that allows the user to set the intensity so as to get the sharpness effect. The value of this property can be set from 0-255. It is useful in scenario when the output is blurry and user want to sharpen the pixels. We have DRM_MODE_FMT and DRM_MODE_ARG() macros to allow unified debug printing of modes in any printk-formatted logging. Prefer them over drm_mode_debug_printmodeline(). This allows drm device specific logging of modes, in the right drm debug category, and inline with the rest of the logging instead of split to multiple lines. drm: Remove drm_num_crtcs() helper

The drm_num_crtcs() helper determines the number of CRTCs by iterating over the list of CRTCs that have been registered with the mode config. However, we already keep track of that number in the mode config's num_crtcs field, so we can simply retrieve the value from that and remove the extra helper function.
