drm/bridge: ps8640: propagate AUX transfer register errors

[ Upstream commit 20697ecb299cd77b4cf8b28f655e56606b0472d8 ] ps8640_aux_transfer_msg() programs the AUX address registers, starts the AUX transfer, waits for SWAUX_SEND to clear, and reads the AUX status register. Several of those regmap operations have return values, but the function only checks a stale ret after the status read. Propagate failures from the address write, transfer start, completion poll, and status read. This avoids returning a transfer length when the bridge register transaction or AUX completion wait failed. drm/bridge: display-connector: Fix I2C adapter resource leak

commit 6a39ca1286dd97ad02bb8e03bbb65ee05368d778 upstream. If the probe function returns an error after getting the I2C adapter for DDC, the reference to the adapter is never released. Fix it by releasing it in the bridge .destroy() handler. There is no need to test the ddc pointer with !IS_ERR(), as of_get_i2c_adapter_by_node() returns NULL on error. drm/bridge: analogix_dp: Fix PE/VS value shift mismatch during link training

[ Upstream commit 6bb8898f702385d363dc2c513a1efa62807f8068 ] VS/PE values returned by drm_dp_get_adjust_request_voltage() and drm_dp_get_adjust_request_pre_emphasis() are already encoded to their native DPCD register bit positions. However, DPCD_VOLTAGE_SWING_SET / DPCD_PRE_EMPHASIS_SET macros perform an extra internal shift. Feeding the raw offset-bearing values directly leads to overlapping bitfields and invalid lane training configuration, causing link training failures and black screen. Add right shift using DP_TRAIN_*_SHIFT constants to strip the DPCD bit offsets before passing values to the SET macros and subsequent checks. Apply this fix for both clock recovery and adjust training code paths. If devm_request_threaded_irq() fails after drm_bridge_add(), remove the bridge before returning. Keep drm_bridge_add() rather than devm_drm_bridge_add(): registration is tied to the STDP4028 device while ge_b850v3_register() may complete from either I2C probe; devm would not unwind the bridge if the other client's probe fails. The it66121_ctx structure has a gpio_reset field, and it66121_hw_reset() calls gpiod_set_value() on it. However, the GPIO descriptor is never acquired via devm_gpiod_get(), leaving gpio_reset as NULL throughout the driver lifetime. gpiod_set_value() silently returns when passed a NULL descriptor, so the hardware reset sequence in it66121_hw_reset() is a no-op. This leaves the chip in an undefined state at probe time, which can prevent it from responding on the I2C bus. The DT binding marks reset-gpios as a required property, so all compliant device trees provide this GPIO. Add the missing devm_gpiod_get() call after enabling power supplies and before the hardware reset, so the chip is properly reset with power applied. imx8qxp_pxl2dpi_get_available_ep_from_port() returns ERR_PTR() on errors. imx8qxp_pxl2dpi_find_next_bridge() stores its return value in a __free(device_node) variable before checking IS_ERR(). When the function returns on the error path, the cleanup action calls of_node_put() on the ERR_PTR() value. Do not let a device_node cleanup variable hold error pointers. Change imx8qxp_pxl2dpi_get_available_ep_from_port() to return an int and pass the endpoint node through an output argument. Initialize the output argument to NULL so callers hold either NULL on error paths or a valid device_node pointer on successful path.
