Convert more 'alloc_obj' cases to default GFP_KERNEL arguments

This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split over multiple lines. I only did the ones that are easy to verify the resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next line. Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the middle of the script. I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial. So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed' scripts. The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want whitespace cleanup anyway. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds

treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union object instances: Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...) Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...) Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...) are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...) (where TYPE may also be *VAR) The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning "TYPE *". Signed-off-by: Kees Cook

PM / devfreq: Move governor.h to a public header location

Some device drivers (and out-of-tree modules) might want to define device-specific device governors. Rather than restricting all of them to be a part of drivers/devfreq/ (which is not possible for out-of-tree drivers anyway) move governor.h to include/linux/devfreq-governor.h and update all drivers to use it. The devfreq_cpu_data is only used internally, by the passive governor, so it is moved to the driver source rather than being a part of the public interface. The member void *data in the structure devfreq can be overwrite by governor_userspace. For example: 1. The device driver assigned the devfreq governor to simple_ondemand by the function devfreq_add_device() and init the devfreq member void *data to a pointer of a static structure devfreq_simple_ondemand_data by the function devfreq_add_device(). 2. The user changed the devfreq governor to userspace by the command "echo userspace > /sys/class/devfreq/.../governor". 3. The governor userspace alloced a dynamic memory for the struct userspace_data and assigend the member void *data of devfreq to this memory by the function userspace_init(). 4. The user changed the devfreq governor back to simple_ondemand by the command "echo simple_ondemand > /sys/class/devfreq/.../governor". 5. The governor userspace exited and assigned the member void *data in the structure devfreq to NULL by the function userspace_exit(). 6. The governor simple_ondemand fetched the static information of devfreq_simple_ondemand_data in the function devfreq_simple_ondemand_func() but the member void *data of devfreq was assigned to NULL by the function userspace_exit(). 7. The information of upthreshold and downdifferential is lost and the governor simple_ondemand can't work correctly. The member void *data in the structure devfreq is designed for a static pointer used in a governor and inited by the function devfreq_add_device(). This patch add an element named governor_data in the devfreq structure which can be used by a governor(E.g userspace) who want to assign a private data to do some private things. PM / devfreq: Don't adjust to user limits in governors

Several governors use the user space limits df->min/max_freq to adjust the target frequency. This is not necessary, since update_devfreq() already takes care of this. Instead the governor can request the available min/max frequency by setting the target frequency to DEVFREQ_MIN/MAX_FREQ and let update_devfreq() take care of any adjustments.
