[ Upstream commit 09cc900632400079619e9154604fd299c2cc9a5a ]

Instead of open-coding it everywhere introduce a tiny helper that can be
used to iterate over each resource of a PCI device, and convert the most
obvious users into it.

While at it drop doubled empty line before pdev_sort_resources().

No functional changes intended.

Let's properly adjust BALLOON_MIGRATE like the other drivers.

Note that the INFLATE/DEFLATE events are triggered from the core when
enqueueing/dequeueing pages.

This was found by code inspection.

<title>mm/balloon_compaction: convert balloon_page_delete() to balloon_page_finalize()</title>

[ Upstream commit 15504b1163007bbfbd9a63460d5c14737c16e96d ]

Let's move the removal of the page from the balloon list into the single
caller, to remove the dependency on the PG_isolated flag and clarify
locking requirements.

Note that for now, balloon_page_delete() was used on two paths:

(1) Removing a page from the balloon for deflation through
    balloon_page_list_dequeue()
(2) Removing an isolated page from the balloon for migration in the
    per-driver migration handlers. Isolated pages were already removed from
    the balloon list during isolation.

So instead of relying on the flag, we can just distinguish both cases
directly and handle it accordingly in the caller.

We'll shuffle the operations a bit such that they logically make more
sense (e.g., remove from the list before clearing flags).

In balloon migration functions we can now move the balloon_page_finalize()
out of the balloon lock and perform the finalization just before dropping
the balloon reference.

Document that the page lock is currently required when modifying the
movability aspects of a page; hopefully we can soon decouple this from the
page lock.

commit fc6bcf9ac4de76f5e7bcd020b3c0a86faff3f2d5 upstream.

Patch series "powerpc/pseries/cmm: two smaller fixes".

Two smaller fixes identified while doing a bigger rework.

This patch (of 2):

We always have to initialize the balloon_dev_info, even when compaction is
not configured in: otherwise the containing list and the lock are left
uninitialized.

Likely not many such configs exist in practice, but let's CC stable to
be sure.

commit 3443ff3be6e59b80d74036bb39f5b6409eb23cc9 upstream.

pseries_irq_domain_alloc() allocates interrupts at parent's interrupt
domain. If it fails in the progress, all allocated interrupts are
freed.

The number of successfully allocated interrupts so far is stored
"i". However, "i - 1" interrupts are freed. This is broken:

  - One interrupt is not be freed

  - If "i" is zero, "i - 1" wraps around

Correct the number of freed interrupts to 'i'.

<title>powerpc/pseries/msi: Avoid reading PCI device registers in reduced power states</title>

commit 9cc0eafd28c7faef300822992bb08d79cab2a36c upstream.

When a system is being suspended to RAM, the PCI devices are also
suspended and the PPC code ends up calling pseries_msi_compose_msg() and
this triggers the BUG_ON() in __pci_read_msi_msg() because the device at
this point is in reduced power state. In reduced power state, the memory
mapped registers of the PCI device are not accessible.

To replicate the bug:
1. Make sure deep sleep is selected
	# cat /sys/power/mem_sleep
	s2idle [deep]

2. Make sure console is not suspended (so that dmesg logs are visible)
	echo N &gt; /sys/module/printk/parameters/console_suspend

3. Suspend the system
	echo mem &gt; /sys/power/state

To fix this behaviour, read the cached msi message of the device when the
device is not in PCI_D0 power state instead of touching the hardware.

commit 11b93559000c686ad7e5ab0547e76f21cc143844 upstream.

The PE Reset State "0" returned by RTAS calls
"ibm_read_slot_reset_[state|state2]" indicates that the reset is
deactivated and the PE is in a state where MMIO and DMA are allowed.
However, the current implementation of "pseries_eeh_get_state()" does
not reflect this, causing drivers to incorrectly assume that MMIO and
DMA operations cannot be resumed.

The userspace drivers as a part of EEH recovery using VFIO ioctls fail
to detect when the recovery process is complete. The VFIO_EEH_PE_GET_STATE
ioctl does not report the expected EEH_PE_STATE_NORMAL state, preventing
userspace drivers from functioning properly on pseries systems.

The patch addresses this issue by updating 'pseries_eeh_get_state()'
to include "EEH_STATE_MMIO_ENABLED" and "EEH_STATE_DMA_ENABLED" in
the result mask for PE Reset State "0". This ensures correct state
reporting to the callers, aligning the behavior with the PAPR specification
and fixing the bug in EEH recovery for VFIO user workflows.

_be32 type is defined for some elements in pseries_hp_errorlog
struct but also used them u32 after be32_to_cpu() conversion.

Example: In handle_dlpar_errorlog()
hp_elog-&gt;_drc_u.drc_index = be32_to_cpu(hp_elog-&gt;_drc_u.drc_index);

And later assigned to u32 type
dlpar_cpu() - u32 drc_index = hp_elog-&gt;_drc_u.drc_index;

This incorrect usage is giving the following warnings and the
patch resolve these warnings with the correct assignment.

commit f82cdc37c4bd4ba905bf99ade9782a639b5c12e9 upstream.

plpks_is_available() can be called on any platform via kexec but calls
_plpks_get_config() which makes a hcall, which will only work on pseries.
Fix this by returning early in plpks_is_available() if hcalls aren't
possible.

Fixes: 119da30d037d ("powerpc/pseries: Expose PLPKS config values, support additional fields")
